Yesterday I sent an e-mail to Victoria's Secret to suggest the reinstatement of Barbara in the brand, saying she deserves to belong to the same again for the great job she did being so young and being at the height of the most important models world.

I think she should work for Victoria's Secret because it would help a lot professionally and she said it was one of the most important moments of your life.

They answered the mail and some said.. "I assure you that I have personally shared your specific request for Barbara.  We value your opinion, and your voice has been heard.  In fact, customer suggestions and comments often provide us with direction for changes in future merchandise and services."

It is possible that if we come together on this we can achieve that incorporate Barbara again on the mark, being that she is an inspiration to many, giving security to people who don't have a body like that of the conventional model and Barbara deserve to be there.

P.S: Sorry for my english.

Greetings from Argentina.

I honestly think that if they want to work with her, they will. I'm not sure if bombarding them with messages will actually help the entire situation. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see her work with VS again, but it's completely up to them who they want to model their lingerie. They're a professional business and know exactly what they are doing, and sometimes it's not what others want to see.

Has anyone ever thought that maybe Barbara DOES NOT want to work with VS anymore for the time being? Just saying. :p

I can see why she wouldn't, they have moved away from models with curves.

Babs can fill out anything while VS has moved towards more thin models and airbrushing and more push up products. She lives in Paris now and they always work with girls living in NYC.

Erin, Rosie and Miranda all left when they probably could have stayed for a few more years, its just proving that their are many other options to that once illustrious VS angel contract.

Yes, ILUVBarbaraPalvin that could be a possibility also. Seeing that she didn't do much modeling in general lately, she maybe she just isn't into it right now and wants to try something else/wants to take a break from it and see how things will go.

I'm honestly not sure if brands don't want to work with Barbara right now or if she doesn't want to work with them. Both could be an option. But I still think that writing a million messages to a certain brand won't really help and change anything.

Either way, I'm not trying to start a fight here and I'm just saying that Barbara, career wise could have other things in mind right now rather than modeling. I guess only Barbara truly knows and we will have to wait and see what she will be doing next.

I'd actually like to see her work for Intimissimi again, and keep doing Twin-Set. XD VS is great and all but she was also pretty amazing with the other lingerie brands.

I loved the work she did with Intimissimi, I think she would also kill it with companies like Beach Bunny, anything that means more of Babs in swimwear.

Wow, Electracity! I must admit that I'm not especially interested in VS and I don't even think that a contract with the brand is the most important thing that could happen to a model. But it doesn't matter. It's just a humble opinion and I could be totally wrong. But I think your initiative was amazing. Sending an e-mail asking for Barbara and explaining your reasons (I have to admit that I wouldn't have done something like that). I have no idea if it'll be useful but I think your initiative was great. I hope your efforts can succeed. Flower%20for%20you.gif

Thank you!  She said walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was one of the three highlights in her career.

So, I guess that was really important to her. But thanks, I appreciate so much your words to me.

totally agree :)

^ But deep down inside we all want her to work with VS so...

That´s not important. If  barbellas want it she hast to work.  :chicken:  :brows:

Maybe Barbara wants to left the model buisness and concentrate on her Lawyer or movie career and that's probably why she's just doing unknown brands to get away from the public attention and get some money together or so. :D
