So Leo will have to be in New Orleans at day 15? He will just come back from Australia and will have to already shoot Django. Gosh, the man is busy.

And I wonder if he had the time to prepare for his role Calvin Candie because he was shooting Gatsby since past august while this time he had to come back to US and make all the press and premiere to J.Edgar than he goes back to Australia to finish Gatsby... and soon have to shoot Django. wow. At least he had his holidays vacations to rest a little bit.

Well the casting call is on the 15th, but Leo probably doesn't need to necessarily be there that day, as they are just asking for extras. but I am sure not soon after the 15th he'll have to be there :/

A user on one of Georgian forum often mentions that,she thinks,the reason Leo's not nominated often and also never wins is his old words about Academy :idk: when I once asked,she said shortly that Leo critic was about how political Academy sometimes is and so on...but don't know the real words,so thought you may knew that :cain:

Sick I also heard about it, but I don't remember why and when. My guess it was in 1998 but I really doubt that's the reason why he never win or is snubbed.

Although I could be confused with the little upsetting that was between Cameron and Leo because he refused to attend the Oscar that year when Titanic was nominated even when he wasn't.

I thought that would be in middle 90's cuz he's such a bad boy at that period :D in Titanic era he was way more calm and you now thinking about his words before opening mouth :laugh: plus I don't think Leo has ever felt upset,he wasn't nominated at Oscars for Titanic,that's why I expelled the theory,he would have criticized Academy in 1998 :idk:

Titanic 3D’ Moves To Midweek April 2

Paramount has moved Titanic 3D a couple days earlier to Wednesday April 4 from Friday April 6. James Cameron’s remastered 3D version of his 1997 worldwide megahit will get a head start on Friday openings of Universal’s American Reunion and Summit’s thriller The Cold Light Of Day. Paramount has also shifted A Thousand Words to March 9 from April 20 where the comedy will face Disney’s sci-fi epic John Carter and Open Road’s horror movie Silent House.

Yes, like you, I don't think Leo will go straight from Gatsby to Django. I just know wherever he goes it's about time he give us some new pix !

I've been following Leo since 1996, and I've never say in print or video interviews him ever criticize the Academy.

Prior to Martin Scorsese winning an Oscar for TD , he did say in interviews around that time that he was amazed that Scorsese had never won, but, then many people were, not just Leo.

I personally do not think the reason leo hasn't been nominated these last few years is because the Academy has anything against him. If that were the case then how do we explain leo getting noms for The Aviator and Blood Diamond :) Even if I feel leo gave more than three Academy award worthy performances i'm just glad leo has atleast gotten noms and hasn't been snubbed completely in that aspect. If that were the case then i'd be worried and so pissed i'd be ready to explode. To me 3 noms is still very impressive that's more than many of his peers can claim. Plus on average Best Actor winners are well over Leo's age, so I just don't think there's this conspiracy against leo per say :)

TOTALLY agree. While I would love him to win, not many actors even get nominated, and I've always said how great it is that we can almost expect Oscar buzz and award nominations from almost every movie hes in. 3 Oscar noms isn't too shabby ;)
