Pami Leo's rep denied he was dating those Aussie models to PEOPLE magazine

nothing is confirmed but in my opinion, he just having fun with those girls (although I just realized how horrible that sounds)

By the by Fash regarding the end of the movie

lol thanks Byprincess

In regards to the very end I was always took it to mean she died... since Jack said to her she wouldn't die that night but instead die an old lady warm in her bed. So I think it was Jim's way of showing Rose lived up to that promise thus "never let go" of that promise. But I get really emotional when I see everyone back on the ship.. my insides start doing all sorts of crazy stuff lol. I got really disturbed when Jack died because you get so attached to the characters and of course Jack is just so loveable.. so seeing that they reunited after death (how I see it) gave me some comfort atleast lol

I guess you're on my friend's side :blah:

When it comes to scripts, since there are so few good ones, everyone 'bids' for the rights to the good ones.

Leo knows he can't do all of these at once, but , once he's bought the 'rights' to these scripts, he knows no one else can act on it for a designated period of time which allows him the needed time to find the right director, tweak the script, cast the other parts, etc.

It's like buying the one and only candy bar in store that everyone else wants; Leo might not be in a position to 'nibble on it right away', but he knows , that at least he can prevent 'others' from nibbling on it to he has a chance to bring it to frutrition

Ah ok! … thanks Oxf I didn't know that

Is anyone else watching the Rangers/Tigers playoff game ???

That's baseball? right? ;)

honestly I'm more soccer fan but too bad I missed it

For me Leo's not dating anyone, maybe he really know this girl but what's the big deal? He's single and he's not doing nothing ilegal and more I don't think he will date someone so soon again.

Pami

As to the Brazilian word nada, over the years I've heard it used by characters on tv and in movies, that is how I knew it meant nothing :)

Jou Jou....I got a question for you...how do you know this brazilian word...."nada" or nothing?hehe

Barbie

Yes, Calvin is not the type of guy who you would want as an enemy :)

By princess

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the news and stuff, and I guess even the silly gossip, lol!

Not sure if this posted already but interview video of Eric MAtheny who plays Hoover's doctor. Around 2 minutes or so he starts talking about the movie and also Leo - Eric seems like a really cool guy and funny - I haven't heard or seen him before in anything tho - but anyway he has some lovely things to say about Leo and the movie

Yeah same here! I knew it meant nothing as well.... and I don't speak a lick of Portugeuse :p

Thank you Solange for video. Love when the interviewer said "do you ever stop in a scene and think hey that's Leo DiCaprio" lol. Love Eric's response even more! Everyone's always going on about how Leo is such a great guy... no one (whose met him) seems to have anything negative to say of him as a person. Moreso, its pretty much the same things that are said of him. That really says alot!

Though I wish he'd dish more about those supposed pranks (preferably Leo related ones) ..

Tiffany designs the jewels for Gatsby

Tiffany is supplying jewellery to the stars of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.

The famous fine diamond jeweller has created one-off pieces for Carey Mulligan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher and Tobey Maguire to wear in the film, which is based on the 1920s period novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Baz and the film's production designer Catherine Martin approached Tiffany last year regarding accessories for the upcoming movie, and the company has come up trumps.

One-off platinum and diamond-encrusted rings, headpieces, bracelets and pearl necklace shave been designed, which are all inspired by its archives.

Jon King, Tiffany & Co executive vice president, is thrilled with the collaboration

"It's a natural role for Tiffany," he told WWD . "Tiffany was certainly part of this era. The brand was at the centre of the parties of the rich and famous.

"Our archives contain spectacular jewels from the 1920s that are the basis of the one-of-a-kind designs we have created for this iconic American story."

The Great Gatsby is filming in Australia now

Leo had two movies on top ten most pirated and rented movie list

AVATAR Is Most Pirated Movie Ever (Also Biggest Modern Blockbuster, Biggest DVD Seller of 2010)

Avatar is the most pirated movie of all time according to the website TorrentFreak. Citing statistics "gathered from public BitTorrent trackers, dating back to early 2006," Avatar was downloaded an estimated 21 million times.

James Cameron's environmentally conscious sci-fier, which went on to gross $2.78 billion at the worldwide box office, was followed by two other major worldwide blockbusters: Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight and Michael Bay's Transformers, both downloaded an estimated 19 million times. Next in line were Nolan's Inception (18m) and Todd Phillips' The Hangover (17m). Rounding out the top ten were J. J. Abrams' Star Trek (16m); Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass (15m); and Martin Scorsese's The Departed, Louis Leterrier's The Incredible Hulk, and Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (14m each).

TorrentFreak seems to find a somewhat ominous correlation between the top-ten most pirated movies and Netflix's top-ten most rented movies: only The Departed and Inception, both starring Leonardo DiCaprio, are to be found on the two lists. In other words, pirates don't need to rent movies. But such conclusions may be a bit too simplistic.

Newest mention of our upcoming J Edgar screening at Carmel Film Festival tomorrow night

There are bound to be some tweets /comments emerging from this screening.

I hope they are all positive :)

Last year, local resident and internationally famous film star Eastwood turned up the spotlights on the event with his participation, lending his name to the Clint Eastwood Filmmakers Award, which goes to a filmmaker that embodies Eastwood's commitment to the craft.

He and his wife Dina, who serves on the nonprofit festival's board, make their choice from all of the submissions for the festival.

"Clint has such a great reputation in the industry that the young filmmakers can't wait to be here," Burns said. "This year he's come out and said he really wants to give us his support. I'm really touched, because he doesn't really have to do it. He could have said no. So it's part of supporting the film festival, but he knows what it will do for this community. And he's pretty much guaranteed our brand in the industry."

This year sees nearly 100 films making the cut for presentation at the six screening venues that include two at Sunset Center, two at the Carmel Youth Center, All Saints Episcopal Church and even Carmel Beach.

Friday sees a special screening and conversation with Matthew Modine on his short film "Jesus Was A Commie," and a private screening of Eastwood's new film, "J. Edgar."

Only those with VIP and Patron Packages or Essential Credentials can attend the "J. Edgar" showing, which is not considered a premiere, Burns said, since the film will actually have its official premier in Los Angeles on Nov. 4.

Franco's film, "
