No. The hope is dead. It will be good lesson for him. He thinks that he's too cool and great for promoting himself in award season and every awards will nominate him without promo. So, he's great but not enough. After all this year's snubs he must understand that.

None of the biggies (awardsdaily, vulture, variety) are forgetting Leo but also don't really predicting him so yeah hope dies last right? 🤞

Am I the only one who still has hopes?! I think he has a great chance to be nominated

Lol. I told you, guys. They nominated everyone of KOTFM except Leo. It's good lesson for him. Don't promote your co-star, promote yourself, man!!!

Titanic all over again. Everybody gets nominated but Leo.🥹

Well can't wait for his next project.

Actress in a Leading Role

Annette Bening — “Nyad”

Lily Gladstone — “Killers of the Flower Moon”

Sandra Hüller — “Anatomy of a Fall”

Carey Mulligan — “Maestro”

Emma Stone — “Poor Things”

Well at least KOTFM got 10 nominations and I'm happy for Lily.

Agreed. Although I do feel he wasn't too focused on being in the spotlight this time, it seemed to me he really wanted Lily to shine here, I may be wrong too.

And that's just my 2 cents of course, the first one is that I don't think De Niro was better than Leo in this movie at all, event though we have 2 diff categories here, his role was way easier and the second one is that I don't think he wanted to be in the spotlight this time, for some reason. But again, I MAY be wrong.

Well, Lily's performance wasn't spectacular, she got nominated because DiCaprio and Apple TV+ promoted her and of course because of her race. Since 2017 Oscar is charitable and humanitarian award, not cinema award, lol.

This award season has made me admire Leo even more. He knows him being nominated and winning awards is inconsequential for his career. He will get whatever roles he wants with or without them. The fact that he recognized that the white man needed to step aside when the movie/story wasn’t about him is admirable. 🥰
