Thanks girls! Love that video above where hes just casually walking and just decided to take a pic with a fan :)

And this tweet, don't know why leo would need a stuntdouble

Jenna Heller@jennaheller

Just saw Leo DiCaprio's stunt double aka the most gorgeous man I've ever seen up close #wolfofwallstreet

Calibi

Tks for fan vid :)

Kat

Tks for Wolf tweet ;)

As to stunt double, the person she is referring to on a film like this would be considered more a 'stand in' , a person who is around same height as Leo/build/ and hair coloring as Leo has for this film, who they use to 'light and mark' a scene, which is tedious and boring.

Then when the lights ,etc are exact, that is when Leo steps in :)

For every movie that Leo has made there has been a guy who served as his stand in for lighting/marking.

And then when he has done action films like BD , that is when he has in addition a stunt double for intense action scenes.

Kat

You're welcome, from talking with people who post on movie boards, who have followed movie making all of their lives, I've had a chance to learn things I never knew :)

Thanks for all the updates girls

NY Post article about the recent Red Granite /Wolf suit, however, unlike the previous one it does mention DiCaprio's Appian Way part in the deal

'The Wolf of Wall Street' producer sues production company for reducing her role behind the scenes

Martin Scorsese's upcoming movie "The Wolf of Wall Street," is such a hot project that it's now reportedly at the center of at least three lawsuits.

Just days after Scorsese was sued for allegedly opting to make "Wolf" instead of another company's movie, "Wolf" producer Alexandra Milchan and production company Red Granite Pictures traded lawsuits over Milchan's involvement in the film and how much she should be paid for that, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the first suit, filed Friday, Milchan claims that although she spent years developing the movie, including bringing Scorsese and star Leonardo DiCaprio on board, "Wolf's" production company has reduced her role behind the scenes and refused to pay her agreed-upon compensation.

The company, Red Granite Pictures, filed its own suit Friday asking a court to declare that it owes “no obligation to Milchan”

Milchan says she reached a detailed agreement with Warner Bros. in 2007 in which she was promised $700,000 in fixed compensation and the right to produce the film. Milchan claims that when Red Granite took over "Wolf" from Warner Bros. in 2011, the new production company took on those obligations.

Milchan's lawsuit claims Red Granite initially promised to honor their obligations but "reneged" on those as it began filming the movie.

At that time, Red Granite allegedly reduced her pay to $250,000, changed her "producer" credit to “executive producer” and refused to let her access the production.

Red Granite also refused to honor the terms in which she was promised back-end compensation after the movie's released, Milchan's suit claims.

Red Granite's court filing, however, indicates that DiCaprio's Appian Way production company was actually responsible for Milchan's back-end pay.

Milchan is the daughter of well-known production executive Arnon Milchan, currently the chairman of New Regency Pictures.

wow! so many new pics! :ddr:

thanks everyone!

he seems kinda weird, his eyes are blue yeah ??? wow! such a long time, I've not seen him shaved

As to Leo's eyes, yes, in the first batch of pix, Leo's eyes looked dark , not their ususal blue, but , to me , in the 2nd group of pix in the striped suit ,they look their normal blue

As to Leo's suit, I really don't know what the men's suits looked like back then or how they fit, so it might just be that the men's suits back in the 80's were designed to hang loose /not be fitted as like his 2010 Inception/ Dom Cobb airport suit :)

i think that was the popular style for men's suits back then -- big shoulders, kind of loose around the torso, wide leg pants. i think the suits will look slightly more proportioned on his body when he becomes "the wolf", but for now, he's still "nobody jordan", so he's wearing cheap suits.

that's how i think it is, at least. give it a couple of weeks. he's going to look like a million dollars during the heart of production when jordan is at his peak.

what i'm more excited about it when/if they have any yacht scenes to film!

Neon

Tks for information about what men's suits looked like then :)

Yes, at this point in the script he is not the wolf who has his suits custom made .

Also, if they still true to script , we'll have plenty of scenes of bare chested Jordan/Jordan in bathing suit :)
