I must say I'm quite dissapointed titanic finished 3rd place. .... I really wanted this film to impress this time around and I expected higher numbers oh well

I still think it's impressive because we have to consider after 15 years and all the huge exposure this movie had throught the years. I think is a good number, I didn't expected that Titanic could be top the box office in 2012, and 3rd place is great.

Of course for a rerelease its doing well..... its just unfortunately it had tougher competition.

I understand you. Which makes me think about the next Christmas when Django and Gatsby will open in the theaters at the same day, have 2 opportunities to one of his movies top the box office. I have a thing with me that probably Django will be more seen because everyone always have such an expectation about Tarantino's movies, and we even can have one movie in first place and in the other in second, would be great.

I think Titanic is doing very well and even after 15 years it still thrives.

Times are different,with other teen fevers around and for me 3 place is awesome! Titanic will always be a timeless classic.
