Access Hollywood will have the exclusive world broadcast debut of the first trailer for J. Edgar, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

The trailer ”two minutes of never-before-seen footage” marks the first glimpse of the highly anticipated first-time collaboration between Oscar-winning director Clint Eastwood and Oscar nominee Leonardo DiCaprio.

Feared, admired, reviled and revered, J. Edgar Hoover was the face of law enforcement in America for almost 50 years. The drama explores his closed-door secrets that would have destroyed his image, his career and his life.

Alongside DiCaprio, J. Edgar also stars Dame Judi Dench as Hoover's mother, Naomi Watts as Hoover's longtime secretary and Armie Hammer as Hoover's protege and Assistant FBI director.

J.Edgar hits theaters November 9, 2011.

As much as I enjoy seeing pix like anyone else, it is unfortunate that he's not able go out without the paparazzo stalking him or gossip columnists making stuff up about him. I'm sure he misses his girlfriend and all his friends back home, who wouldn't, but it's funny how the Daily Fail never entertains the possibility that the reason he's looking "glum" in the boating pix is because the paparazzo they pay handsomely won't leave him alone to enjoy a day out with his friends and family.

HE'S the security guard slash actor whose job it is to play the part of Leonardo DiCaprio in front of the paparazzi - Confidential would like to introduce you to the man we call "Decoy-prio". Having first hit the radar last week at the launch of The Star, the professional impersonator was again doing his doppelganger best on Saturday night to help his employer sneak into Baz Luhrmann's private 49th birthday bash.

Wearing the same purple LA Dodgers cap, blue jeans and leather jacket that has become Leo's signature Sydney outfit, Decoy-prio arrived at the Great Gatsby director's Darlinghurst abode by hire car and immediately sent the local lensmen into a flashbulb frenzy.

Decoy-prio has become an important part of the megastar's entourage and helped him enjoy an uneventful (read: photographer-free) dinner at Establishment's Sushi E on Friday night, followed by another under-the-radar appearance at King Cross club Beach Haus, where he was spotted dancing to a Snoop Dogg song.

Invitees that don't need a stand-in, like Gatsby cast members Joel Edgerton and Elizabeth Debicki, were spotted arriving in the early evening at Luhrmann and wife Catherine Martin's 30-room Italianate castle Iona, which they bought for $10 million in 2006.

Caterers were coming and going all day and some guests arrived with presents in 1920s-style packaging.

The State Heritage Registered house was built in 1888 and once used as a private hospital.

Hopefully any sore heads were fully rested up yesterday, with the Gatsby shoot scheduled to reconvene today.

It just occurred to me, is Access Hollywood one of those sites that doesn't show video outside the U.S.? I hope not, but if anyone knows how to put it on YouTube I hope you're ready Monday for our friends in other countries.

"Purple Dodgers cap"? Try Dodger Blue! The "decoy" is wearing the Dodgers cap in the boating pix, but I guess they couldn't find a pair of Leo's loud boardie shorts for him. But this would makes sense if they're trying to get him inside without giving the paps anything. It wouldn't take long to figure out it's not Leo, but if it's enough time to get him in the door that's all he needs. But I'm not buying the claim he plays "Leo" once inside. Even dressed like him he looks nothing like him. They obviously knew that was Leo dancing to Snoop Dog. From Olivia Newton John to Snoop, the man loves his music. Thanks kat!

Yes, but once the trailer premieres on Access Hollywood, the official trailer would be released on Youtube right after, so no doubt after it premieres, the official trailer will be on the internet So the non U.S peeps don't have to worry

And yeah I also agree about the decoy. Hes probably only an enter/exit decoy so Leo can enter through a different door, while the media think hes going into another one!
