June 20, 200618 yr damn spaniards! oh well w/e they will never win the cup They'll be out in the quarter-finals like usual
June 20, 200618 yr From the Spain vs Tunisia match: Aragones' last throw of the dice saw Real Betis winger Joaquin replace David Villa on 55 minutes, and Tunisia soon responded by bringing on Kaies Ghodbane and Allaedine Yahia for Bouazizi and Ayari.
June 20, 200618 yr I've never really seen him play, just the odd time, but I hear a lot of comparisons between him and Henry <_< does that mean he is not clutch Did you hear Henry's comments, what a moron He blamed everything except himself for France's horrible performance Whenever I've Torres play for Madrid, he's hasn't been great. I've been trying to tell everyone he's overhyped, but now he's making me eat my words <_< Compared to Henry? where are the similarities? :lost: and yes, Henry's developing a problem with accepting loss. First it was in the Champions League, and now he pulls this stunt...
June 20, 200618 yr Argentina won 6-0  They are officaly the team to beat <_< Messi and Tevez are just class Pekerman has got to find room for them They played so well through the centre. Messi has class stamped all over him. What other player recovers from injury, and comes on with only 15 minutes to go and gets a goal and an assist? forgive my backtracking...
June 20, 200618 yr Tevez, Messi, Saviola, Crespo, Mascherano, Lucho, Cambiasso.. ahem! you forgot Riquelme and Maxi Rodriguez <_< Their defence still looks a bit dodgy, but maybe their winning formula is not to play all their big guns on the pitch at the one time... ... Poor Brasil
June 20, 200618 yr Italy was really dissapointing yesterday (N) De Rossi was an idiot for elbowing McBribe like that, and I hope he dosen't play again <_< Zaccardo shouldn't even be starting in the first place, and that own goal he scored was comical Who kicks it directly backwards into there own net And Iaquinta <_< Why is he even coming on with Inzaghi on the bench Lippi really screwed that one up :anger: One bright side was Zambrotta's return I only caught a glance of the game. Italy screwed it. hard. :|
June 20, 200618 yr And if it means that there will be no Scudetto, so be it, as long as they fix all the scandel from italian soccer  Many people believe the problem is corruption in football. They are wrong. The problem is corruption. Serie A and other sports are only the tip of the iceberg...
June 20, 200618 yr Ronaldinho has not looked very good since the CL final Brazil looks very beatable at the moment He started losing it before then. His form dipped when he consciously decided to be Barca's and Brasil's one-man attack. Now, he's putting pressure on himself to work miracles everytime he touches the ball. He doesn't seem to be having much fun anymore and its affecting his performances It's something that's happening to other players too Without Fergie shouting at him, Cristiano is reverting back to being a ball hog. Robben put in some good performances, but when he gets that boost in confidence he thinks everything he touches turns to gold <_< and Brasil look fragile Luckily they have quality in defence (although the defensive system is flawed)
June 20, 200618 yr This is my team based on what I've seen...AbbondanzieriAyala ----- Lucio ----- LahmZe Roberto ----- Y Toure ----- Xavi -----Kakavan Persie ----- Drogba ----- TorresSubs: Schwarzer, Juan, Eboue, Puyol, Cahill, Mascherano, Zokora, Fabregas, Messi, Villa, RobbenRationaleAbbondanzieri: Good positioning. Not only does he release the ball quickly for the forwards, but have you seen the accuracy of those long balls?Ayala: Very experienced and organises Argie's back trio well.Lucio: Taking into account Brasil's defence, he has been untouchable. Pips in ahead of Juan for his forays into enemy territory as well.Lahm: Now people know who I'm talking about when I talk about him. Bit lazy tracking back sometimes though.Ze Roberto: Another one of Brasil's stars in defence. Doesn't hack as much as Emerson, can play the ball and support the attack, all without negating his defensive duties (as evident against Australia) Toure: Had my eye on him. Now I know why Wenger offered

First it was in the Champions League, and now he pulls this stunt... Henry likes to blame everyone or everything else <_< I can't believed I wanted him on Milan for like a minute
Messi will be the star of the tournament if he gets more playing time Is he suppose to start against Holland

June 20, 200618 yr Ed what you think of your Aussie's?I hope they get into the next round In Guus we trust. No Guus, No Glory. I think Guus has done a fantastic job! We are a little physical sometimes, but we have enough skills to mix it with the big boys. If not, we can always break their legs We're a good unit. We're organised and determined to do well. Unfortunately, we lack players with class and finesse. If anyone, it'd be Kewell and Bresciano that had those attributes. Against Brasil, we put in a good performance but were unlucky not to get anything from the game. I think we deserve to be in the last 16, more than anyone else in our group. Hopefully we can overcome the Croatians :lullaby:
June 20, 200618 yr henry is ugly :yuckky: hes too overrated..you mention france, its henry, henry, henrywell anyways..i think australia won against croatia..though i was very surprised..you know this really doesn't make any sense because croatia played so well against brazil..1-0 wow i was very happy with the way croatia played..but then brazil beat australia by 2-0...u would think croatia would be the one to win..and the same thing with ghana and the czechs..does that mean ghana will win cause the czechs beat us? lol yeah i seem to over-analyze sometimes lolany predictions of england and sweden game?im thinking it might be a tie or england might win it by a goal..though i want sweden to win lol or atleast tie..love both teams!
June 20, 200618 yr owen is out! it was like the first two minutes..in the mid field he went to kick the ball and he twisted his knee..and hes out! crouch is in his place..gerrards sitting out but now joe cole just shot one..omfg it was such a quick strike! totally unexpecting it went way over issakson's head..it was a long shot too 1-0 so far england vs. sweden my husbands[freddie, david] shook hands :jimmy: ugh some bitch tripped freddie..poor hottness! loll i hate rooney :x
