October 31, 200816 yr I know this topic probably died months ago.. but.. Sometimes smaller isn't better.. Because yeah many models are flat chested but most of the time a fuller chest woman looks better in the same outfit as a model, because of the 'lift' breasts give. Though, I'm not saying 'omg you're flat GO GET BOOOOOOBS!' nah. As long as YOU like your chest that's all that matters. To me, I don't know how small size feels. Well, if you count when I was 8 years old, but since 8 years old I've been quite large for my age. I'm 17 and a D48 ( and dear lord, please never get D48 as implants PLEASE! real ones are trouble as it is you don;t need basketballs getting in the way!HAHA! I would be content as a small D or a big C , but I like my chest since it runs in my family, so it's like my little pride & joy . Only thing is, bra shopping is hell, obviously in stores if you have big breasts your automatically 'plus sized' and that's just uhg. My cousin is average skinny and she has D30's so HAH STORES! TAKE THAT! ) . Naturally. The only thing I'd do to my breasts is either down size them a tiny bit OR breast lift which will still include a small sized Silicone implant. But that's because I want to, and usually.. to be recognized now in Hollywood -.- half the time you have to let your 'tatas' (lol) do all the talking, and that really sickens me.. I support plastic surgery but only if YOU do it for yourself. not because someone else wants you to.
November 1, 200816 yr No, because I'm honestly happy with the way I am.There are also so many risks involved and I don't want to go through that.I don't think I would ever get any kind of plastic surgery. You should be happy with what you were given and shouldn't change that for anybody.I know a lot of people are self-conscious. We all feel inadequate about our bodies at some point. Peer pressure, media, and stereotypes makes it much worse. However, we should all learn to be comfortable with the way we are. Personally, I like it natural.
November 11, 200816 yr I wear D, so I`m satisfied but even if I had smaller breasts I would not get a boob job.

November 11, 200816 yr maybe after i get kids.... but i am flat and it is okay. i have great legs, they are replacement for the lack in the upper area LOL
January 2, 200916 yr Author I always wondered if women who decided on getting implants actually really do them only for themselves. I think that you want to get a boob job because of your low self-esteem. You want to feel better, you want to be noticed by other guys, you want to look better to your partner... It's not only for you and nobody else. And the world was made in such a way that big boobs help open a lot of doors for a young woman. Photoshoots, fame and glamour... you can achieve all that if you expose (!) yourself just in the right way. Like we have this blonde bombshell singer in Poland, Doda - she's mainly known for her fake boobs, a reportedly high IQ (ca. 156) and the fact that she was in one popular reality show on the TV (apart from the fact that she does have a great rock voice). Boobs helped her gain more confidence and I think this is the case for about 99% of women getting breast implants. So I guess that you don't do this solely for yourself - but also for the people around you. You want to be seen. Because you know, there is no point in improving your chestballs if you're not going to show them off afterward, is there? No up-neck sweaters, right?
January 5, 200916 yr *nods at Q* Yeah, I think it's mostly done in an attempt to erase insecurity. Only to find out afterwards that you're not happy with your nose either. I have Keira Knightley as my inspiration. She's gorgeous and she's not ashamed of her flat chest. Not that she wouldn't like to have bigger god given boobs, but she accepts who she is. I think all women should do that. Change what you can change through natura ways (exersise, diet) and then accept yourself. You are who you are. Besides, implants need to be replaced in a decade, they can leak, you can get infection...hell there's so much that can go wrong...most people don't even realize it. If you want them taken out, you don't have any boobs left (the skin is stretched from the implant, so you'll look all saggy.) Just the possibilities of it ending up to be a disaster would be reason enough for me to skip it, even if I did consider it.
January 5, 200916 yr I decided to null my vote.As a perfectly straight red blooded male, I see no logical reason to proceed with such an operation.... butIn an extreme case such as an apocalyptic genocide of all the female homo-sapient on the planet, I may consider it.I need my boobies.
March 5, 200916 yr If you ask me I wouldn't consider having a boob joob. And maybe I should mention that I have really small breasts. I don't judge people who decide to enlarge their breasts it's really up to them. One of my friends did it, as you mentioned because of low self-esteem, and today she feels really good about her self!
May 5, 200916 yr I'm actually having a breast augmentation on June 10th and I'm so excited!! I'm a small 34B and I'm going for a small D cup. I honestly can't wait. My hairstylist and a co-worker both had their breasts done and after talking to both of their doctors, I decided this is something I definitely want to do. I've always wanted larger breasts, ever since I knew my boobs weren't going to grow anymore. I think there is a HUGE misconception with breast implants. I've told almost everyone I know (I'm not ashamed of it) and while nearly everyone is supportive and excited for me, there is the occasional person that just don't understand. They think I'll end up looking like Pamela Anderson. But what most people don't realize is that if you find a very, very highly trained, reputable plastic surgeon who is board certified, you can have beautiful, very natural looking fake breasts. My hairstylist let me see and feel her breasts and they are honestly amazing (I'm going to her doctor). Her breasts feel and look incredibly real and I wouldn't have been able to tell either way. I've also heard other wonderful things about this doctor I'm going to. The general population assumes that breast implants = hard, fake, round basketballs on a woman's chest, but that just isn't so. The more I talk to people, the more I realize how common breast augmentation surgery is. So many people have it done and you'd never know! Are there risks with surgery? Yes, there is risk with every surgery, every medicine you take, even getting in your car and driving every day is a risk. But I am 110% confident in my surgeon. I did three months of researching breast augmentation before scheduling my surgery. Breast implants today look and feel incredibly real, which was a big concern for me. After visiting breast implant discussion forums, websites, before and after pictures, talking to doctors, etc., I feel this is a great decision I've made. I am doing this for myself. My fiance did not ask me to do this, nor did friends or family members pressure me. My fiance, at first, was a little opposed to the idea. He thought it was a waste of money. But after talking to him and having him research the procedure and visiting the doctors with me, he is now just as excited as I am. I'm not doing this for anyone else. I've grown up a lot in the last few years (I'll be 24 in July), I make a lot of money, support myself, and I really want to look and feel like the woman I have grown up to become. Now I know larger breasts does not a woman make, but I still get asked if I just graduated high school. I'd like to fill out dresses better and not have to wear heavily padded bras to look busty. Am I a little insecure? Of course I am. Most women are. I am just choosing to do something about it and I think there is nothing wrong with it if that is what a woman chooses to do. Anyway, sorry this is so long, but I thought I'd give the opinion of a woman who is going to have her breasts enhanced.
May 5, 200916 yr ^ Thank you for saying that. I want one simply because clothes look better generally when you have some lift or cleavage to go with them. I have the chest of a boy and I am 23 years old, it is so frustrating for myself to see that. Models are stunning and unique so flat chests mean little when looking at them, but when are you just average and normal looking, breasts mean alot more I want a nice B, not Pam Anderson size lol

Models are stunning and unique so flat chests mean little when looking at them, but when are you just average and normal looking, breasts mean alot more I want a nice B, not Pam Anderson size lol I'm a B, but I feel like it no longer fits my fame. 5 years ago it did when I was 100lbs and skinny as a rail. But now I've got more curves and I'd like my chest to match my other curves. The rest of me has grown, except for my boobs! Currently, I'm 5'5 and 120lbs. Just make sure you do your research and ask around for highly-trained doctors. If you know anyone who has had breast implants, ask them how they liked their doctor and don't be afraid to ask to see their before/after pictures. I was "lucky" my hairstylist is very open and had no problem letting me see/feel her breasts. It definitely sold me on the decision! The more research you do, the better you'll feel about the procedure. I'm not nervous at all.... yet!
June 29, 200915 yr Maybe after I am pregnant or something. I always used to be an A, and now i gained some weight (uch) and I'm a B, but also around 36'' in my waist, so i'd rather be a total flattey (? XD) with a slim waist. I dont really look like B since I have a wide chest or big ribs or something like that going on about my upper part
July 2, 200915 yr I'm an A and they don't seem to want to grow any bigger than that I want to get a boob job, but not to get really big boobs. I'd get a big B...only because I want to look like I ''have'' boobs when I'm wearing a bikini. Because other than that, I really don't like big boobs, I prefer smaller ones.

Glad to know that you actually did a lot of research before making this decision. I really hate it when I hear people and their ignorant statements about breast implants and how it's not "genuine beauty". It's ridiculous. If breast implants can't be considered genuine beauty, then neither should makeup and accessories like earrings. Some people really need to get off of their high horse. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look more attractive or just have more confidence about yourself. If you have the funds, and have done the necessary research and feel comfortable with a decision that as a woman you want to make, then there shouldn't be a big deal. If my girlfriend wanted to get a breast job one day as something she really wanted, then I would support her in her efforts. Not that I think she needs them, and I'm happy with how she is now. moiselles, I hope everything goes well with your decision and I also hope it meets your expectations. I bet your fiance is going to be thrilled deep down inside. I think I've already seen you before. You are already a gorgeous young woman. This is just another added bonus.
July 3, 200915 yr I voted for "i dont know", because who knows I might have the need in the future? But right now, I am so happy with my body, i am contented with my size although its not really that big, just in the right proportion...hehehe..I have nothing against enhancement, each of us has the right to feel good about ourselves. If a boob job, will give 100x more confidence and better looks to a girl why not? Just choose the right doctor. Be safe! Have a nice day to all!
