Ellie's shoot is IMO the best shoot SI has done in the last 4-5 years. She looks amazing and the pics are well done.

We're nowhere near the glory days but I do think overall this issue is an improvement over the last few.

The only athlete who looks fabulous in last years edition of 2025 was Cameron Brink.

I am actually very happy with the pics I've seen so far. Still more to be posted here and looking forward to them.

Sophie Cunningham and Livvy Dunne are the clear winners this year from what I've seen so far.

Also, I have no idea how SI fucked up so badly on the surprise Hilary Duff shoot. You have a genuinely gorgeous Hollywood actress and you can't even be bothered to take ONE good photo of her?! The lighting, poses, and suits were all atrocious.

Salma Hayek is in her 60s and her shoot last year was better than Duff's by several orders of magnitude.

SI used to be so good. Call me a pig but I have no interest in fat, old, pregnant, or unattractive models. Brooks Nader and still hot Nina Agdal were the highlights.

If there is a silver lining for this years SI swimsuit, Molly Sims is still killing it at 52. 💖

Feels like SISE nowadays is all fake blondes with fake tans (ps?) on beaches washed out by the lighting, cuz their skin, their hair, the sand, and the sun, sometimes the suit too, are all the same color.

They used to get exotic models and shoot in exotic settings is the big difference to me. And they spent money on the shoots with multiple outfits that actually fit properly, back when SISE used to break in new models.

They switched in focus to American models, then you could see the budgets obviously get cut, and now they're just chasing social media trends. In retrospect, putting Beyonce on the cover in 07 was the beginning of the end.
