I first watched it with my grandfather when I was a kid. It's such a great movie and a lot of what it says is still food for thought today. The pace of the movie is funny and the music is always in perfect harmony with the images. Chaplin is out of touch with the world all the time, he meets his soulmate (Paulette Goddard) who's a lost bird like him and they struggle in this world they don't fit in. I like the hope in this movie (even if it's a bit naive) and seeing the heroes moving nonchalantly in a hasty world (that doesn't know where it goes) reminds me of how I feel sometimes. PS: when you finally have the occasion to watch it, let me know your thoughts about it!
This prounoun plague on Twitter is mass hysteria. Some people are so desperate to control other people that they'll cling on to anything, even a trend that denies basic biology.
Empty brains discussing with empty words to bring empty meanings: that has always been CNN's business model. This network is void desperately trying to find a consistency they'll never get.
There are too many untalented TV and movie producers in 2020.......... it's a freaking epidemic. The "new" () trend is to copy someone's original idea and gender-swap the characters. That's soooo creative Hollywood and the entertainment industry is mostly a herd of brainless sheep
