Not necessarily. A brand won't always get the return on their investment in the girls. Sure, they'll get exposure, but it doesn't mean that sales are guaranteed.

Yawn at the released pictures with Barbara. Neither her nor Alexina are doing anything for me with their shoots. Well, not a lot of these girls they're using are doing anything for me.

All the people bitching the girls don't look sexy... Well yeah, its hard to look sexy when VS stopped trying to be that and instead going for cutesy and comfy. And then they go and pull a monstrosity like putting logo straps on the Very Sexy Pushup.

I'm having the same problem as toodarnhot with respect to the official VS thread not showing up in followed content despite following it, and having unfollowed then refollowed.

VS is just following a trend a little late. Dior did it with their dresses and now VS wants to cash in on that trend. Also I still can't figure out VS thing with Alexina. She does absolutely nothing for me whatsoever.

None of those photos are doing it for me. Yawn. Chantal definitely gives budget Joan Smalls and Robin outshines her though yeah, she's got a few bad pictures.

Seems like they're trying to go in too many directions with this collection. Dream in color originally with the bright colors, sunglasses, etc, now its everyday angel. Just doesn't seem cohesive in my opinion.

Wore makeup for the first time in forever and realized I definitely want some new stuff. My foundation is oxidizing on me badly, my collection really needs a good nude blush, a decent setting powder because my pressed one is crumbling away, considering eyeliner again, and a new mascara.

Makeup Revolution has so many dupes for just about every brand. Their Kat von D shade + light palette dupe, Urban Decay Naked palette dupes, the basically everything Too Faced has ever done, and the Kyle lip kits are the standout dupes. I've heard people comparing the new concealer to shape tape but the reviews I've seen don't make it sound all that great. Have heard great things about the brow pomade from my favorite youtuber, as well as the single highlights and the lace banana powder. The only products I've tried are one of their liquid lips, the salvation velvet lip lacquer in the shade rebel. It was a gorgeous color, similar to MAC rebel, but the formula was really dry and it crumbled off, and something like a gloss that was supposed to be a nude-ish color but came out orange on me. I think it was called nothing like anything?

Like you guys I haven't been buying makeup either. Last thing I bought was a highlighter from e.l.f. around Christmas and I for the life of me can't figure out using it best. Gerard Cosmetics gets a no from me after the owner was on snapchat calling a youtuber who gave a negative review the ugliest person ever. The whole foundation shade range thing makes me roll my eyes because there are brands out there with large shade ranges (looking at you Fenty Beauty and MUFE) that not having even a quarter of those ranges just seems stupid. These limited launches from brands could do so much better.

Overall feeling: Meh but happy for my girl Robin! Also hit me up if anyone finds something in this tragic mess they want giffed.
