Luca Guadagnino's ‘After the Hunt' to Shoot This Summer — Andrew Garfield Joins the Cast Fresh off the acclaim of “Challengers,” Luca Guadagnino will be shooting a new film in just a few months. In March, it was announced that Guadagnino would direct Julia Roberts in a thriller called “After the Hunt” that landed at Amazon/MGM Studios. The script is being penned by Nora Garrett. This is a hot package that is said to have had many bidders. Deadline is now reporting that Andrew Garfield has joined the cast, and that a summer shoot has been set up. A 2025 release is being planned for the film. The trade additionally claims that “every A-list director and star” has been chasing this project since its inception a couple of years ago. “After the Hunt” is described as an intense dramatic thriller about a college professor (Roberts) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues, and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light. So, this will be Guadagnino’s next film. He might shoot the Italian-set “Separate Rooms,” starring Josh O’Connor, in 2025. He’s also going to be very busy this fall as his much-anticipated William S. Burroughs adaptation, “Queer,” starring Daniel Craig, is set to premiere at at festivals, including Venice. Guadagnino has a stack of other projects lined up as well, including an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ “The Shards,” for HBO. He says a “Call Me By Your Name” sequel, with Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet, has been written. Finally, his upcoming adaptation of “The Lord of the Flies” is still in development.- Sydney Sweeney
Official: Edgar Wright to Direct ‘Barbarella' Remake, Starring Sydney Sweeney As we reported last year, there is now confirmation, via Deadline, that Edgar Wright is in talks to direct Sony’s “Barbarella” remake, starring Sydney Sweeney. Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class) and Honey Ross will be penning the screenplay. The project had been announced last October. Sweeney, who is set to play the titular character, is also executive producing. Wright is a big fan of the 1968 original, which starred Jane Fonda, and even included on his list of favorite movies. The 1968 film, directed by Roger Vadim, followed an astronaut from the 41st century who set out to find and stop the evil scientist Durand Durand, whose Positronic Ray threatened to bring evil back into the galaxy. I find Wright to be an incredibly talented visual filmmaker, but he also has an annoying penchant for infantilism and silliness. There’s a film geek sensibility to his movies that can sometimes rubs me the wrong way. With that being said, his best film is probably “Baby Driver” and its incredible usage of practical effects (save for the absurdly over-the-top last 20 minutes). With that said, Wright’s next film is also a remake, that of 1987’s “The Running Man.” Glenn Powell, who is everywhere these days, is set to star as the lead. Wright is coming off the worst-reviewed movie of his career: 2019’s “Last Night in Soho.” He still has his ardent fanbase, who will go and see whatever he does next. He’s built up this base of support with such films as “Hot Fuzz,” “Scott Pilgrim vs The World” and “Shaun of the Dead.”- Amy Adams
Hopefully Taika Waititi won't ruin it. I'm still mad with him turning Thor into a silly goose.- Leonardo DiCaprio - (Please Read First Post Prior to Posting)

@AnatasiaSteele82 have fun with those books 😍- Last movie you saw...
He isn't a macho in this movie AT ALL. He's rather tender, protective and very broken after 17 years of jail for a terrible crime he didn't commit he was convicted for when he was only 15 years old. Also those scenes teared me apart 😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️- Last movie you saw...
Fat? I would call it "muscular" maybe "beefy" but fine 😄- Last movie you saw...
Finally watched with Boyd and Elizabeth Moss last night (it's on my watchlist FOR YEARS). Do you know it @Lilja K? It's beautiful and very sad. I only found the english version without any subs and since Boyd is a bit of a texan mumbler I really had to stay focused. But the movie isn't so much carried from the dialougs but Boyds and Elizabeth' exceptional gift to carry every single emotion on their faces (if you watched The Handsmaid's Tale with Moss ya know what I'm walking about) 🤯 It's probably one of Boyds finest perfomances ever. I also went a bit crazy over his massive shoulders 😚 Call me crazy but in the right light I think his hair had a tad of red what me made think of you- Brad Pitt
^maybe one reason that they seem in trouble and ironically it has indeed something to do with the race cars 😄 👇 Kosinski/Pitt's Formula One Movie Undergoing Extensive Reshoots - Kirsten Dunst
