I'm on the fence but leaning towards no. With Candice and Behati back + the NA, I kind of think they'll use less of her. They didn't really use her as "much" as they did until the two of them were on maternity leave. Plus, even when she does shoot, she has the least amount of photos released most of the time. But you never know with VS. The photoshop on this last shoot is so bad. I think she and Taylor got it the worst.

I know. Whoever was in charge of editing this shoot did a pretty terrible job, this is the worst it's been in a while.

RE: Next year's segments. When is the last time they did a holiday/Christmas segment? I'm not talking about the snow and ice thing but something like Sexy Santa's Helpers/Sexy Toys/Deck the Halls? It seems like it's been a while. I hope they don't do anything in the Exotic Traveler/Boho/The Road Ahead vein because those were all messes. Slapping a bunch of bright colors together does not a good segment make. Some of their more successful themes in recent years are ones that aren't taken so literally or have a simple theme (Aquatic Angels, Silver Screen Angels, Parisian Nights, Angel Ball, etc.) so it would be a nice surprise if they went that route.

I hope they don't waste too much time with her shooting mostly/only Pink. Out of the three Pink spokesmodels they have now, she's the only one I can see transitioning to mainline and Angel status. It'd be a total waste if she didn't.

I can see them casting Ashley next year tbh, imagine the press they'd get for it.

I posted this in the VSFS thread but since the conversation is happening here too: I think a solid lineup for Angels (going with girls VS actually works with) would be: Candice, Behati, Adriana, Elsa, Taylor, Jasmine, Josephine and either Sara or Lais with Grace for Pink. Ale, Lily, Martha, Stella and Romee should go even if I'm a fan of some of them. Ale would be better off leaving now and putting her full focus on her brand and Lily is hardly used and frankly looks out of place now, plus she has a solid enough career outside of VS that she'll be fine. Martha is a snoozefest and brings nothing to the lineup that another girl doesn't already. I like both Romee and Stella a lot but I think both work better for HF, but if I had to pick one to stay it would be Romee. But I can only see VS letting Ale, Lily and maybe Martha or Lais go in the next couple of years. To VS more is more, including their contracted girls

^ Agreed. No matter how low the ratings get, VS is getting advertisement they wouldn't without the show. I think a change in network, ABC maybe?, would do it some good. They could overhaul the creative team when they did that too.

I don't think anyone is going to leave after this show for some reason. I see it playing out as follows for the next couple of years: Gone after the 2017 show: Lily, Martha, Ale* Gone after the 2018 show: Romee, Stella, Lais I think Lily is definitely gone after the 2017 show, something is up there. Probably Martha too as she's forgettable 95% of the time. I'm hesitant to throw Ale's name in there, I think she'll leave when she wants to and not the other way around. She gets a hefty paycheck for showing up twice a year, not a bad deal. As for 2018, that could obviously change but as things stand now, I could see those three being axed.

Fair points! But yeah I agree with you as far as the fit with CBS, it's not a good one. I'd like to see them move networks but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm not sold on it stabilizing, at least not on CBS.

Of the missing models, who do you think is out for sure? And is there going to be another location in January or is this the last one?

If you were VS, how would you "fix" the show or improve it? I think most of us are in agreement with the fact that it needs tweaking.

I think the CW would be a good place for it, tbh. It skews young and the male audience they've cultivated through all their superhero shows would enjoy it as well.

Absolutely, CBS skews the oldest demo wise of all the major networks. I don't think the VSFS is a great fit for the network for that reason. I know CBS collects the ad money, that's who I was talking about as far as them being not pleased with the fact that the show continues to lose viewers each year. Why do you think it will stabilize? It's been a downward trend in the demo for the past few years, including an astronomical drop between 2014 and 2015.

Yup, advertisers and networks don't care about overall viewers. They care about the 18-49 demo. VS may care about the younger audience but their advertisers don't and that's where they make money. It'll drop below 2.0 next year.

Overall, it was meh. It blended in with the past few years like the rest of them have. The editing was bad, they rushed the girls out onto the runway (why were there three or four of them on there at a time?), blink and you miss the Angels and the FB. Too much time spent on Jo (I say this as someone who loves her) and the Hadids. No segment or mention of the FB minus some woman yelling about it backstage? I thought they did Lily dirty last year but this was even worse. TRA: Loved Elsa's (and Bill's) opening, I thought she killed it and I hope she opens again in the future. I actually loved Taylor's outfit and thought this was the better of her two walks. I thought Ale's closing was great too and I'm glad that they gave her a decent edit and showed most of it. MRA: I thought this was going to be my favorite segment when they were announced but it was disappointing. Wrong song choice, rushed models, tacky outfits. I thought Jo's opening was good considering the slowness of the song, Lily's walk was okay here, Sara and Sanne were the best in this segment and both looked gorgeous. Pink: I wish they'd shown more of Grace but overall I liked the energy of the section, all the girls were having fun and the actual outfits weren't too bad. SA: Adriana's opening was killer and she's still the queen and showing the younger models how it's done. I didn't really like this segment but Elsa and Sara looked amazing, Sara's wings were awesome in motion and I hope she's able to open a segment next year. DA: Taylor looked beautiful but her opening walk was so lifeless, definitely something she needs to improve on. Overall, this section had some of the better outfits. I loved Lais' wings and I thought Ale was really solid again. I still think Lais should have closed. BNA: Stella's opening was a lot better than I thought it would be. Next to Pink, this section had the most energy. The random red and pink outfits were weird in the sense there were only two of them, I wish there had been more color. Jasmine, Romee, Jo, Kelly, Jourdana and Jo were my favorites. WTF was up with Lily? Her closing walk was as bad as I thought it would be and she was a buzzkill after such a fun, energetic segment.

^ Jo had an entire segment dedicated to her being the "new" Angel, that goes a long way.

I haven't been paying super close attention but Stella's perfume commercial and Sara had a solo commercial too, but I didn't catch for what.
