I still think of closing the show as a bigger deal than closing a random segment in the middle of the show but that's just my opinion! I think the fact that Lily's walk was so low energy and not great for an otherwise upbeat segment is why her CBS edit showed so little of her. Who does everyone think will open/close things? -
It's obvious that models like Sara, Taylor, Elsa, Jo (despite her average gained followers slowing down), etc. are on the up and up and haven't reached their peak popularity yet, their numbers reflect that. Models like Ale and Lily have already reached their peak popularity in terms of both work and social media, IMO. I think you could or will be able to throw Behati into that grouping too (until or unless she gets back to modeling). Then there's models like Adriana and Candice who always seem to have steady growth despite what kind of work they're doing or not doing or the pictures they're posting. This! I've been wanting them to do something like this for years. But they seem set in their "let's have girls run around a mansion or castle" schtick.

People thought she'd be overlooked for anything last year and she ended up closing the whole show. Do I think it's likely? Not really, no. But would I be surprised if she did? Also no. I sincerely hope she doesn't though because her walk is awful and every other Angel they have contracted is a better walker than she is.

Totally agree. I'm over the bright colors = opening thing they've done the majority of the last five years. I really hope they go for something different this year (more along the lines of Femme Fatale, Blade Runner, Glamour Goddess, Tough Love or even Ballet) instead of relying on said colors to pack the punch the opening segment needs. It's lazy. I fear they might have Lily open this year since aside from wearing a Swarovski outfit/wings, that's the only thing she hasn't done. I love her but her walk is awful.

Inb4 the 2018 show is in Madrid. The second "outfit" they have Taylor in is one of the better ones they've stuck the models in. Candice had one of the worst, it was a quarter of a sweatshirt and one of their regular bras.

Same with Lily, she and Ale are the only two who have a loss of followers the majority of the last 10 days. Adriana, Candice, Elsa, Jo and Stella have had one or two days where they've lost followers. Martha is barely breaking even and the rest have all gained followers over the past 10 days. With the amount of Angels who lost followers at least one day of the last 10, i'm wondering if IG purged/deleted spam accounts like they do every now and then.

Wow, really? She's made for Versace so that surprises me. Hopefully she walks more shows for them. Thanks for the adds, everyone! She looks beautiful.

Femme fatale/vixen theme? Monica and/or Sophia described two of the segments last year using those words. And an opening segment that's very colorful and trippy? How original! They haven't done that for four out of the last five shows either. If this turns out to be true, I won't be shocked at all. VS needs a new creative time like yesterday.

Bee is going to end up as Doutzen 2.0 aka she'll never get a FB. I think she'll be back for holiday stuff, but I'm curious to see how much she works for VS beyond that and the show. They should have given it to Behati in 2015 and to Lily last year, IMO. My money is on Stella, Candice, Elsa or Jo getting it this year and in that order. But watch, they'll give it to someone like Martha.

Love, love, love the dress and the hair. The lips really don't go with her eye makeup look, there's something off about the color of them.

Another model search? This show is already a mess. Maybe this winner won't write a book trashing the entire company a few years after she walks. That lip sync video is horrendous.

I like it! The only thing I'm not crazy about are the shoes themselves, but I do like that her lip color matches the shoe color too. Thanks for all the ads!
