Elizabeth is yikes all around. I remember when she used to constantly push Magdelena's tacky chokers on Instagram and in any shoots she styled, VS and otherwise.

Definitely. Everything feels kind of stale with them now. They're resting on their laurels and the name they built for themselves 10-15 years ago and haven't done much to refresh things in terms of creativity. If anything, that's declined.

This thread is a treat as always. How long have VS' overall sales been declining? I feel like the last few quarterly reports have indicated that along with the fact that PINK/whatever they call VSX now/bralettes seem to be keeping their sales from being a total disaster. The article does make some good points, they should be lowering their prices, not raising them. A lot of their target market doesn't have the income to pay their prices, and the ones that do can usually find better deals and better quality/design elsewhere. They really do need to cut some of the deadweight Angels who are either past their prime or who bring little/nothing to the brand. But they're so stuck in this "more is more" mindset that I don't see that happening.

With Russell, so that's most likely another campaign for her this week. She looks amazing!

I like the dress, the color is gorgeous on her, and the makeup fits the look. The hair and the shoes are a miss for me. Like @*Luna* said, they're too small for her. There's pictures of her posing where her toes/foot are almost entirely out of the shoe and it looks dumb. Black was the wrong color choice for a dress like that too. If they were going to do the whole undone/bobby pins as a hairpiece type of thing, they should have gone with embellished or jeweled.

Sports clothes cover up more than some lingerie does (at least what she was wearing), maybe Candice doesn't feel lingerie ready yet. She was shooting a VSX campaign/commercial and IIRC, they're only doing white wall stuff for lingerie right now and I don't see her rushing to do that. The models you listed didn't take as long to come back from maternity leave because VS didn't have a dozen other Angels at the time that they could and were using like they do now. Or, like you said, she'll work in a similar capacity that Adriana, Ale, etc. do where she shows up for the big stuff. It wouldn't shock me if that's what her contract was like now but at the same time, I'm not reading into her return to VS being a sports shoot.

My favorite looks of hers so far have been the red Zuhair Murad and the blue Elie Saab, her hair and makeup is absolute perfection in the that and goes so well with the dress.

So true! I think most people speculated she wouldn't come back until the holiday stuff, which is looking like the case. But they start shooting for that in June or July, I think.

Her first two looks at Cannes are the best she's ever looked, IMO. Especially the red dress. Not too crazy about the jumpsuit though.

Do Jason's parents live in LA? If not, Rosie could be due any day now. Between them being in LA and the multiple doctors visits she's had lately it makes me think she is.

They told Lily in June and the FB shot was in September. I think they told Jasmine in May and she may have shot it in August.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't usually photograph the model in the FB for at least another two months, right? The past few years they've told them in May/June and then whoever is wearing it shoots with the finished FB a couple of months after that. Guy shot the 2015 one and David shot last year's, so there's no telling who will this year.

But yeah, IA, wouldn't shock me if Stella got it this year. I'm still pulling for Behati though. They should be telling whoever that they're getting the FB soon. I wonder if they'll do the same thing as last year where they tell her in front of a group of them.
