Gigi has some decent curve to her - ie, a little waist with some hips and a bust. Some people (myself, for one) use the word "curvy" to refer to a person's body type, mostly an hourglass one - it's not fair that the term has been appropriated as an exclusive euphemism for people who feel bad about their weight. btw, I say this as someone who frequently likes women who are much larger than the supermodel norm.

Thank you, Michael!! I was thrilled to see her on the cover, I honestly didn't think she was "celebrity" enough for US Vogue. I'm not crazy about the cover but the editorial is much better. She's absolutely incredible... smart, charming, talented, just an all around dream. I also think her immaculate style played a role in boosting her career.

^Agreed, I'm not a fan. All I have to say about new potential models is that, while obviously I love long sinewy women, some of the thin low body fat statuesque models start to blend together the same way the exotic beaches do. I'm not holding my breath but more diversity in body types and looks would be great.

I actually love her in clothes too, though I prefer when she wears colour just because she wears so much dark/neutral/broody looking stuff to appearances.

I feel faint. side note: my friend works at a small boutique and sometimes The Blanchett comes in to shop. She said Cate is always lovely and smells amazing. Just needed to get that off my chest.
