She has a stylist. She doesn't buy her clothes. Also, from what I noticed she has contract with Adidas and (maybe, not sure) Louis Vuitton. She has a promo partnership with Flatiron school. I think it's nice that she's putting the name out there for girls to code but I think it's very shady of her to advertise herself as "a coder". Because it's clear that that girl can't code. Learning a programing language takes enormous amount of time and she works so much in fashion that there is no way that she has enough time to take 4-5 hours minimum per day to learn to code. And I'm talking a very basic level of code. That's what I don't like. It's more like a PR stunt than the real thing. If she was just upfront and told everyone that it's a hobby for her that she's been interested and that she's learning on her own pace when she has time, that would actually be very cool of her. But the fact that her management (Scooter Brown of all people) is pushing the narrative of her being some kind of a super-woman who works in fashion but can also build apps is disrespectful to everyone who is actually breaking their brains while learning programming. I live for the day when someone actually has guts to ask her an actual tech question and to watch as she tries to bullshit her way out of it. I mean, look at this bullshit:

LV is the most boring brand right now and they seem to be handing out contracts to everyone, including Kardashians. I would hope Doutzen to go for something more classy.

It's still dumb as hell to put down another woman's looks. Because most women who are potential customers of VS don't look like Candice or Adriana. And even Candice needs her bra to be filled in when she does shoot for them. And btw. That would maybe even make a bit of sense (no matter how rude it was) if VS Angels have never went under the knife. Which is hilarious. Gisele had a nose job, Alessandra had her ears fixed and a boobjob, Adriana had a boobjob, Josephine had a boobjob, Lais had a boobjob...and that's just off the top of my head. And this is without even mentioning botox that some of them use. So VS Angels definitely "purchase" their bodies, so shaming Upton makes no damn sense. If they were a professional group they would've said something like: "We really like Miss Upton and congratulate her on her success, however at this moment we are not working together. In the future things may change. Regardless we wish her nothing but the best wishes in her career." Done. That's how you handle those things.

Thank you, I was a huge fan of VS. And I'm sad where they are now. VS Angel was a pop culture institution. It was a huge deal. Today, we're not even 100% sure who the Angels are and the general population couldn't give a damn and could not even mention any of the new girls. Most would still probably name Gisele, Adriana or Ale. lol

That's rude. Why are you so passionate to fight any criticism towards the Victoria's Secret company, so much that you need to throw unnecessary personal insults, even though I never addressed you? And I didn't use a single hyperbole, everything is well documented and is a fact. I never understood why people line up to defend shady billionaires, as if they appreciate that. If VS truly cared about its "fans" they would treat their employees better and not make lingerie that falls apart after few washes.

I'm not putting any energy into it whatsoever. It's just entertainment. This is just a forum for people to chat. This doesn't require any actual effort to do that. Running the site takes effort. But commenting how worshiping VS is kinds silly isn't really hard, no? Why are you guys so emotionally attached to it? The people who owned and ran the company didn't appreciate it for what it was supposed to be, we see now that they were handling their business behind the scenes in a shady way. Why should we all still have some kind of sympathetic view of the VS? Also, people here aren't exactly throwing away fake stories, it's all been reported by reputable news sources. The connection with Epstein is also documented. VS have built the brand on over-sexualisation and bringing the impossible beauty standard on women by using models that have gone under the knife in order to reach their standards only to then sell that as "empowerment". That's why. They're still too big to fall completely but it's fun watching their brand crumble. Completely deservedly, too. Why should any of us have sympathy towards multi-billion dollar company? None of this was done to them, it's all 100% self-caused.

I know that it's nothing new, but it shouldn't look so amateurish. Like, I would make something like this. I would expect paid professionals to do a bit of a better job.

I think they added both Jasmine and Asian girl (don't know her name). If you zoom in on the Jasmine's left elbow, something fishy is going on there. Blurry pixels.
