Some Osage Nation citizens who are in the film have confirmed there is a private viewing in Tulsa today.

I have gotten a couple of reports that there is a private showing of KOTFM in Tulsa tonight. The reports are not coming from official type sources, so can’t confirm the validity.

Thanks for the pic! There have been rumors since 2021 that his dad bought a house in Tulsa, so maybe those rumors are true. Also, it’s 100F/37C in Tulsa right now. Why is Leo wearing a jacket? We also have had thunderstorms the past few days and nights. The sky does look cloudy in the background, so maybe they were able to catch a pic in between the storms.

Glad you read it. The movie seems to be different than the book. I’m interested to see how they adapted it. Also, just a reminder that the type of stuff discussed in KOTFM is still occurring to this very day all over the US, but especially in Oklahoma. I love this interview. Thank you for posting this here. The only thing that bothers me is that they talk about it in the past tense as if it is not still occurring to this day, but at least they are talking about it. Can’t wait to see the movie. For those who live overseas, indigenous communities had a big win last Thursday when the US Supreme Court upheld the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) which protects indigenous sovereignty and protects our children from being stolen or taken away from their indigenous communities.
