No...no one said you needed to be impressed with anything. You asked. I stated. Simple as that. VS is not going to come out and tell you everything...heck they don't even come out and confirm half of their shit. Which is funny, because I posted about 3-6 months before anyone ever knew about KK or Selita being dropped , and was called all sorts of names...and 6 months later they were gone. So some of this stuff is just info in advance. Doesn't matter. But whatever. As for the angels picking...how about Gisele never showing her butt? Or Heidi always making sure she has the most impressive wings? Or several others we haven't heard about...yes the angels do get an opinion and a say in what they wear. If they don't like it, they'll change something about the outfit, or MAYBE choose another one. Heck 75% of the outfits the angels try on in fittings, aren't even the ones they end up with. The outfits don't even look the same...but that's different. People might want to keep that in mind when pictures come out of fittings, most of what you see the girls won't be wearing...that almost always happens lol. and PRETTY PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE LOL! Like I said at the end of the day no one in the public cares who wears the fantasy bra, the names of the girls, or who pens the show...all they care about are boobs and butts simple as that

Well this is coming from Ed, and Monica's stand point. Adriana has lost and gained weight before, and from the looks of her pregnancy photos she's not gained a lot of weight, about 20-30 which is around average. Plus it's her job and it's a paycheck plus she loves what she does. She'll be back and be fine, and the company is already prepping for her comeback next year from what they've told us, so she is aware of this and will be working out the minute after she gives birth. If they were so worried about it and etc, they wouldn't have sent Adriana on an event when she was huge and pregnant...if they are willing to do that, it shows they are willing to work around the weight loss. She's always fluctuated and she'll get it off, she's always been good about it in the past. Also even if she didn't loose the weight, she's still got 4 years left on her contract anyway. She renewed last year. As well as Ale. Savanna was just posting what she happened to remember, that I told her. We have been told by multiple sources, these girls are not going anywhere. They have the biggest, and longest standing contracts with VS. There really isn't even a question in the company if they wouldn't renew. They have the option of leaving, but neither are showing any interest in it. The exact quote I received was "Adriana and Alessandra are going no where. The only time they will leave the company, is if they request to do so." Something along those lines, and I've heard that from several sources. I'm not even a full fledged fan of Alessandra but it's a fact she isn't going anywhere. Arie as for contacts, I happened to contact Limited one time and was passed through to Monica Mitro's office and stated who I was, and I was a fan and asked about an event, after doing this several times. They have contacted us back, and started a "relationship" with our site. Plus I've been fortunate to have some people who are friendly who I speak to that work for the company (high up positions) and work backstage or for the show, or for the company at all times. Plus the info Lima-Fans gets from Adriana's agent, PR, and Adriana herself (she's actually a member on our forum, she's personally confirmed) so we get our contacts from that. As for the angels picking I meant it in it's loosest terms. The stylists does pick out the items the girls will wear, but if the angel does not like something about it, she doesn't have to wear it, and she gets an opinion of what she wears. SO they come to an agreement basically. Like I said people can be upset about Adriana or Alessandra, or accept it. If they are the only ones that have stuck around this long it's kind of obvious. Plus look at the VS stores all over, it's still always those two, with Marisa mixed in. But it doesn't matter, Aries is right...this thread is about the show not the angels, or who is staying and who is going. Like I said, if Your fav angel is Adriana, Ale or Marisa...I wouldn't be worried at all. Also after what Marisa posted, I'm totally scared about the runway this year, I'm hoping they bring back the straight runway, but I have a bad feeling they won't. By the way Pretty I got a new number...I be callin soon.

Angels get their fittings first, then the new girls. Because the angels basically get anything they want, as for the other girls they get what is left and what works best for them.

That sounds intense. It seems like there is very little stability in the Angel lineup lately. Adriana and Alessandra are their top sellers, no one can touch them. They aren't going anywhere, no one but them (from what I was told) is safe. The only way Adriana or Alessandra will ever leave...is if they want to. No one can touch them in sales, or popularity. So neither of them are showing any interest in leaving the company in the next 5 years, so anyone who doesn't like them...sucks for them because they aren't going anywhere. So people, bitch, moan, complain, cry, complain again...just doesn't matter. I'm 100% that's what sav meant with no one is safe, outside of the two she had already mentioned. As for the others, they just aren't selling very well, or sticking with the public. I'd say out of the angels besides Adriana and Ale Marisa would be the safest, besides them I don't think anyone is.

It started becoming clear, because a friend of mine (who happens to have contacts) got in touch with me and told me there was a misunderstanding, and I didn't tell anyone. Because I felt this was valuable information that the company didn't want known, there was a reason they told me originally and facebook also promoted them to be angels. Plus I didn't want to loose this contact, who trusts me with valuable info. So I kept my mouth shut. Then facebook took the "angels" down and placed them as new faces, and the girls denied everything, or not saying a word, and a few were at castings. So it was becoming obvious anyway, otherwise I wouldn't have said a word. But as of right now Adriana (by the way, totally confirmed not going anywhere for a long time.) Ale (ditto) Marisa, Miranda, Doutzen and of course Heidi.

The person that runs Modelina, is Desiree Gruber...aka Heidi Klum's publicist, aka owner of Full Picture Victoria's Secret's official press agency...they are 100% reliable!

I was totally alarmed by the size of her breasts, but it looked like she had the new bra on, because she didn't look that big in casting. She looked like a full C in casting, if they put her in the new bra ( the one that adds two cup sizes, which would make sense since it's the one their promoting now)...she would come off as a double D. A couple of the other girls looked like this too, and they weren't that big initially. If this doesn't get proven lol, my vote will go for Ali.

Does anyone have a file of the 2007 and 2008 show in MPEG2 format? I'm trying to create myself some dvds each show and can't find these two at ALL!

It's just an opinion like everyone else has. She's starting to show signs like some of the other models did long before they were dropped. I was one of the first ones to think Selita, Izabel and KK were going to be dropped and one by one they were. Doutzen is just a guess of mine that she'll be gone, nothing based on fact. As for my knowledge on VS, yes you are right I've been a fan for 8 years and I worked in VS, but that really doesn't help lol...I happen to be lucky enough to have a few contacts at Monica Mitro's office (Vice President of PR) and I speak to on a regular basis a few people who work backstage/have a connection with VS or the show. So sometimes I know certain things before they even hit, but it's only once in a while, because most of the time I'm asking about Adriana. But it's becoming more often now, since we just contact Adriana's PR team and agent more for her stuff. SO any news I get regarding the girls comes from a few hints I might receive, or from what I've seen over the years when they drop an Angel what they usually do As for Doutzen, I love her for VS and would love to see her continue. My concern comes in that, she's not being used for as many campaigns in comparison to the other girls. She's only used in the ones where it seems every other girl is used, and if she wasn't it would be an obvious drop, and if VS is anything, they aren't obvious. They take 2-4 weeks to make decisions sometimes and they are pretty tight lipped about a lot of things. But she's not doing launches and two times she did she cussed and while it's not a bad thing, it is when your live on camera and you are representing a company. So we'll see a few months after the show, because we'll probably know for sure next summer So to be clear, Doutzen leaving, is an opinion after studying VS for a while and seeing how they click and run things and also comparing it to when a few angels where dropped. I've not asked anyone who works for VS if she's being dropped (and I'd doubt they'd tell me, contracts are kept very secret...they may say her contract is in trouble but that would be it...but they haven't about Doutzen) so for Doutzen it's my educated guess/opinion that she'll be leaving the company. Only time will tell though. Also I do agree with Miranda being the other, and Heidi being the third. Also you can't compare Candice to Doutzen, Doutzen's contract will be up next year. Candice just signed a new contract (most likely 3 years) they won't get rid of her first. They wouldn't have signed new angels on, just to get rid of them.

Yea, Kev. I've been searching for the special so people can see it, I mean I remember her attitude from it so that says a lot. Plus she's done her own thing and I feel like another girl should get a shot at it. I agree though a lot of people seem to adore Kylie and Ali and I think it will come down to those two. And Jade that's your opinion and that's fine. Everyone has someone they'll vote for We don't all have to agree. I was just stating what I remember about the girl. A lot of people will remember her, and that could work against her. Plus she's still coming off fakeish. A Lot of people who will vote do care about personality, and etc so it does matter. I think personality means a lot, if you don't have a good personality it takes your looks down so far, it makes someone very unattractive. Especially for VS, they actually look for girls with personality and looks and if you don't have one or the other, you aren't going to do anything for the company. I think everyone should vote for who they want to vote. I was just stating my opinion and how I remember and see some of the girls. As for Naomi, Designers didn't mind her being rude and etc, but VS eventually did (notice she's not around anymore) and the public never really cared for her attitude. But whoever wins, it's not like they are actually becoming an Angel, their walking in the show and hopefully it leads to better things for whoever gets it as well But Like I said my votes are def to Kylie and Courtney Here is another video for everyone. I'd like to see Kylie win, I think she has the perfect look and a sweet personality. The others eh, Courtney is sweet and sounds excited, if I had to pick a second she'd be mine. As for Alicia, I remember her from the 2005 SI search, and she was so incredibly bitchy/ rotten and stuck up on the show, I'll advise people not to vote for her. Plus she's coming off super fake in the interviews. Raven is pretty, but she does seem super plastic, so my picks would be Kylie and Courtney.

I agree, what I want is bright colors, simple outfits with colored jewels designed and draped like the 2005 segment you described. I think Simple is always best, like the 2005 and 2003 shows, they were simple outfits but gorgeous accessories or wings and it was wonderful. Also the editing back then was much nicer as well.

I think the 2007 theme for Christmas was tacky and over the top, but like Tori somewhat said the 2005 concept is what I'm trying to say. 2005 was an awesome show and it had some Christmas like themes in it, and the bright-fullness and etc, it was Christmas without yelling it. Like I said I'd be glad if they just blended the 2003 and 2005 shows. Also can we please have the big white wings back? To me it's like come on, they are a staple...I'm sick of the bird wings, and butterfly wings and etc. Just simple white elegant wings please. One theme I'd love to see is a jewel/fantasy theme, where the girls wore very simple bras and panties, maybe some garter skirts, maybe a simple robe or cape in solid royal colors, with just beautiful matching jewelry, and then at the end march out the fantasy bra. Like for example, put Candice in a red very sexy bra, with a red garter skirt and red panties and maybe a robe and have her just dripping in rubies. Maybe have another girl in blue and have her have on sapphires and so on it'd be expensive but I think it'd be gorgeous.

Tori I actually agree about the bright colors. When I think Christmas I think bright, beautiful and frosts. Not blacks and whites. IMO if we could take the simplicity of the 2003 show, and the colors and hype of the 2005 show it would blend perfectly to create a Classy Christmas Special.

I think people can find angels unattractive, but to call Adriana or Ale not pretty at all...is really absurd. I'm not a fan of Miranda or Rosie at all, or even Ale for that matter but to call them unattractive or not pretty is just making myself look stupid. None of the angels are ugly by any means, if they were they wouldn't be some of the most wanted women in America/around the world. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but don't put down the obvious beauty of another model just because you aren't a fan. Like I said I don't see the big deal about Miranda or Rosie or some others but to say they are unattractive is absurd, if they were they wouldn't have gotten as far as they have. But I agree, tired of beating a old dead horse. We know who the angels are by know so need to discuss it anymore. If it is back at the Lexington Avenue, I'm sure we'll have the old runway setup, if we could have a combination of the 2003 and 2005 shows I'd be in heaven. It was all class in 2003 and a lot of fun in 2005 without being over the top. If we could have that again it'd be heavenly. And Sav, not even an hour...45 minutes tops! It's going to be absurd.

True, but VS is very very tight with their contracts and if the models want to continue it's different. The Veterans in this current group wish to continue and for Adriana at least has confirmed her contract in a video from an interview last year, and we already know about the beauty one. Alessandra obviously wants to continue, or she would have stopped after Anja. Also about Tyra, they didn't really have to say that because the classic VS contract is 3 years and the only 5 year contracts which have been given out are to the 3 top Brazilians and that's really been it. Marisa IMO could be the next one to get one of those, if her fame continues to rise. Tyra signed on as an "Angel" in 1998 she probably resigned a couple times and opted out on her 3rd time. As a fan of hers I honestly wish she'd leave in like 3 more years and go on to do better things, but the company loves her, she loves them and she really isn't going anywhere. Even though their contracts are for longer, in 4 years or so I believe the girls will be like Heidi where they are used more for their names and special projects and the newer angels will start to rise up as well. Right now VS needs to keep Adriana, Alessandra and Marisa around for exposure and their names. They are the public's favorites by far, and they get people to tune in specifically for them. Hence why the three lead the polls on VS's facebook and are always the favorites in the store. Adriana and Alessandra are the models besides Heidi who pull in the biggest crowds at the VS events as well, by far. So while some of us may be sick of these girls, in a business standpoint, it'd be horrible to loose them. If I had to pick the two angels that are most valuable to VS right now I'd pick Adriana and Marisa, and that's only if I exclude Heidi. Out of the new Angels I believe Candice will be the one that really hits it big, she's just got that oomph that VS looks for, and I think she'll be the one that stays with VS for years to come. As for the perfect 10 I wouldn't be surprised at all, it actually does make a lot of sense. As for events it will be interesting to see who they team up. I see Ale and Rosie teaming up a lot, and Adriana and Candice, and I see Lindsay being with Marisa quite often. So it will be interesting to say the least.

Dri isn't retiring anytime soon, she's said so herself (while she's been pregnant) and VS is already preparing for her huge comeback next year, from what Monica Mitro's office told Lima-Fans. They couldn't give a lot of details, but they are working with her to be the big comeback event(s) next year. Also she just signed a new 5 year contract next year, along with a 5 year beauty contract earlier this year, which means she'll at least be around for 7 more years, so she's not retiring. (Seriously how many times have people written this lol) Miranda there have been rumors for a year a half that VS and her aren't clicking, and Doutzen, well all the signs are their. I don't think they'll be around much longer I think realistically we're looking at this line up. Along with Keeping Ale, I think their keeping their most famous faces, Adriana, Ale and Marisa and then adding some great spokesmodels so they really get the best of both worlds. It's on the facebook page, and I contacted a few people I know as well (because I found it kind of hard to believe) and they said yes, but they were shocked because it wasn't supposed to be announced yet. But those people work backstage so they just might know things a little later than the more up front people. Limited Brands (Monica Mitro's people) confirmed it at as well. They didn't say much due to legality issues, but they're actually pretty friendly and they'll give you some info but not a lot. They've always been that way though. But I asked more stuff about Adriana next year than anything with them, like I said they can say stuff but not a lot. There is a certain point though when they can't let people know. You have to be careful who you get because a few of her people (along with Monica herself) are very friendly and will give out some info, but she's got a few people who are just rude. So some people where claiming these girls weren't signed, but according to Limited Brands, and Monica Mitro and her people, along with other people in the company claim they are. Also, it might be due to privacy and legality issues of the contracts.
