I'm as biased as they come: Gen's a favorite, so like edm, I'm disagreeing with gab on her, as apparently were SI voters who named her ROTY in 2010. But I am with TLH on Sara: not seeing a whole lot of masculine anywhere on her. But folks, it is in our disagreements that we can appreciate the greatness of the SISE...Vive la difference! Chrissy was the ROTY in 2010. They didn't do the fan voting back then either. You can extrapolate that Gen would've won been a fan voting back then.

I hope they don't send Candice because I will have to read (in her thread by some of her fans ) how she's greatest swimsuit model that SI has ever had and other hyperbole. Lily being in SI IMO will be a good test to see how popular she is outiside of the social media.

I knew some of the girls from the casting calls were going to be rookies. It didn't make any sense to reveal the list of the girls that didn't make it and have a another secret casting of the girls that did make it.

I like Martha for VS and I think she did a good job at the Thanksgiving Parade. I did get a good laugh when someone called her Tara Reid. It will take more than just being American to become a star (Erin, Lindsay, and half-Brit Lily). If Candice needs to go because there's nothing else for her to do at VS then she needs to take Adriana and Ale with her. I could see her future being like their present and that's being known for just doing VS. The majority of this roster is known for just doing VS anyway.

I remember something like this happened to Joan Smalls. FashionTV show a clip of her at VSFS, but they said it was Selita Ebanks instead Joan. I don't think they look similar enough to get them mixed up buy apparently someone did.

I feel like VS was notorious for taking unknowns and turning them into stars; nobody had heard of Miranda, Candice, Lindsay, Erin, Heidi until they worked for the brand, but they invested a lot of time and money into making them well known celebrities, and the thing they were most known for was VS. Now they are being lazy and hiring already well known supermodels who aren't necessarily notable for VS (Chanel, Karlie), if they stick to that trend I definitely see them giving Barbara a contract. I pray they don't bring on Lais, can't stand her weirdly stretched skeleton body. I'd love to see Bregje brush up her english and land an angel contract, and maybe Sui He to bring some diversity to the team. Heidi was also working for SI at the time which boosted her profile as well but I get your point.

VS used Nina before she did SI but they chose not to invest in her. I believe if VS would've made at least two of these models (Bar Rafaeli, Brooklyn Decker, Kate Upton, Nina Agdal) at the peak of their popularity, VS wouldn't have some of issues they got today.

Selita appeared in SI as a rookie and wore the Fantasy Bra the same year which was 2007.

It's not the end of Barbara's modeling world if she doesn't walk for VSFS. Models like Kate Upton, and Nina Agdal made names for themselves in spite on the fact that VS didn't invest in them.
