Anne should've gotten a popularity boost when she was dating Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. She walked for VS the same year Maroon 5 did the show. It's all how to market yourself to the general public.
Irina has been on the cover and she didn't fit the blonde and big stereotype. She is exotic looking, she's a WAG (like many recent SI Covergirls), and that appeals to men. I like Anne but she's career so far with SI and VS has been bridemaid's like. She's good enough to work for them but she's can't be a covergirl or an Angel for some reason.
CBN was stunning at Rag and Bone.
