Neither this year's or last year's are that great...deep fuschia and red were their best. Also not a fan of the writing on the back of the robes. Black robes could actually look cool.

Dominatrix would be great. I'm really over festival and hippie stuff though, so I don't really want to see that in a segment.

If the show was as well done and reputable now as it was several years ago, I'd say Gemma would be a great choice - especially since she's become more curvy in recent years. Today, though, I agree that she's out of VS' league.

What Kendall's saying makes sense (no one wants to hire a reality star), but at the same time, she just simply isn't pretty enough to be getting so many great fashion gigs without some help. Her face is just way too ordinary. I think Kanye more than anyone has helped open doors for her.

How does attending the show not go along with Derek Blasberg's line of work?

VS should get Coldplay to perform at the show...."A Sky Full of Stars" would be perfect for a segment.

hahaha, quite true. I'm guessing Kanye's connections help her get many of these jobs, and Kanye probably wouldn't be with Kim if she weren't famous off that sex tape.

Why??? And yes, that's a terrible thing! Just read celeb news - I'm thinking about how I'm sick of Kendall Jenner getting so many modeling jobs (like her current spread in the September issue) . . . her face is just nothing special at all . . .

Jennifer Lawrence has a good actress look - she's somewhat pretty but not in an obvious way. She can pass as both the plain Jane and the love interest. She can play herself up or down. I think Kristen Stewart has a good actress look, too. Because she's not outrageously gorgeous, it's believable when she plays the shy, awkward girl. But IMO she is still cute enough where you can understand why a good looking guy would be into her.

Well see, I'm not sure if Jennifer Lawrence is really loved that much because of her looks. She certainly is attractive, but not in a super-conventional way. Her appeal is more the combination of her undeniable acting talent and her super-goofy public persona. Actually, one of my guy friends said he finds her personality really annoying, but thinks physically she's very hot. I used to think the same thing as you, but apparently guys think she's hot.

A few things... What year is this from? I've always been a big fan of Kate, but even I have to admit that lately she hasn't been looking so great. Aging, I guess? Also, her breasts confuse me. Sometimes they look huge and other times they look just slightly above average for her height and weight - including in bikini/topless shots. Has she gotten implants or does she use a lot of padding or something?

I'm thinking about Vogue's 2014 September Issue (see articles on it here and here) featuring "The Instagirls" - the cover shot shows Cara, Karlie, and Joan Smalls, and there's a pull-out inside of six other models. The models say they think the supermodel era is over and that the new "it" models are those who are popular on Instagram. I think it's really sad that the best known models these days are famous essentially because they are attention-hungry. I miss the days when supermodels were famous because magazines, photographers, designers, and cosmetics companies WANTED them on their covers, on their runways, and in their campaigns. They were famous for being good at what they did - not for being self-absorbed, attention-hungry young girls who documented their lives on social media.

Odeya Rush - 17-year-old actress in "The Giver," which was excellent, by the way.

Has she ever given beauty and/or brow advice? I'd be interested to read/hear it, if so She's stunning - I love strong features like hers. Also, she and Hilary Rhoda remind me of each other sometimes.

How come she was never a VS Angel? I think it's smart that she didn't become one of the models known only for VS like Alessandra and Adriana, but I'm curious as to whether she was offered a spot or not. It has puzzled me why she, Izabel Goulart, and Ana Beatriz Barros all seemed to be among the prettiest girls in a number of the shows yet never appeared as Angels (Goulart may have for a short time, actually). Also, does anyone have photos of her at 16 from that 1999 VS catalogue? Thanks!
