@jj3 I don't know if you're being serious or if that's a tacky paint pun.... ....but the fact is I've never really been a huge fan of the SI body paint thing. It's OK as a one time thing or maybe once every so often, but I could live without having it every year TBH...

21 models last year, including 5 rookies. Plus 3 athletes as well, so really 24, (not including model search candidates) I count 17 confirmed models including 5 rookies on this year's so far. So, yeah we're way short. If location 3 is all athletes, we're still 3 short of last year. If it's a model search, we're 7 off. So either way we're either not done shooting, or they made a decision to cut back on the number of models this year...

Lynching might be harsh, but that said....

A bit of a long post here, so bear with me: THE COVERS: Hailey nailed it. I was very surprised she got the cover, but it's a beautiful (if somewhat racy) shot. She improved so much from last year it's amazing. I like that Ashley got a cover. I'm all for body diversity and she is beautiful. Problem is, I don't like the pic they chose for the cover. There were others that would have been better. I'm not a big Ronda fan so I'm meh on her. MODEL SEARCH: i swear they could have swapped these girls for the actual rookies and we would all have been better off. Dani left me speechless. But she always leaves me speechless. Without a doubt my favorite model in the world right now. She's stunningly beautiful yet has that approachability that makes her so likeable too. She has slayed me. I obviously am voting for Dani in the Model search, but the others are not slouches. I really like Caroline a lot, I hope she gets in SI some day. I like Megan and Ebonee too, not so much Kyra and Mia though. REGULAR ISSUE: ASHLEY: I'm all on board on this. It does take a special person to pull this off and she did. She's beautiful and full of confidence. The shots could have been better but all in all, well done. BARB: I love her but the shots here were underwhelming. Something was just missing. The shots are just meh. It reminds me of Emily D's first year and she improved by leaps and bounds the next year, so hopefully they bring her back. BO: My favorite of the rookies. The facial expressions are a little off in spots but I actually thought everything else was great CHANEL: i haven't been a huge fan of her shoots for some reason and this one was about the same. Average. CHRISSY: I've always loved Chrissy, so I'm a little biased. I thought she looked great and really seemed the enjoy herself, as always. The "vajazzle" EMILY: Fantastic! She's pretty much #1 on my list of SI models at this point. She's nailed it every year since here somewhat mediocre rookie year. ERIN: WHAT. THE. FUCK?? I just hope they bring her back next year because they botched this to the point of comedy, and through no fault of Erin's. She's not my favorite, but she deserves better than this. GIGI: Pretty good. I didn't like the shots at first but they're growing on me. Nice old fashioned traditional bikini beach shots, which suits her well. HAILEY: our new blond bombshell. As i said earlier, the improvement of her shots over last year is amazing. Top 3 among this years sets. HANNAH DAVIS: the slide has begun. These pics aren't bad, but she does not look as good as she did. Why the boob job Hannah, why? I don't even think it's a bad boob job, but why anyway? HANNAH FERGUSON: this year's winner. Just... wow. She always had the body and presence, now the pics matched it. Just awesome. IRINA: This may be her best set ever. She looks fantastic and the pics are worthy of her. She had a blah period for a while but it seems the last couple of years she's stepped it back up. KATE: I've always been a big Kate fan and this might be her best set ever. Love her. LILY: never been a fan and I doubt that will change. This year's pics are OK but there's just nothing much appealing about her to me. NINA: Maybe a notch behind past years but still some great shots. where are the swimsuits? ROBYN: I'm glad they brought her back, as I don't think they did right by her last year. this set is much better. Not great, but good. ROSE: she is so much fun to watch. You can tell she enjoys doing SI. Well done, again. SAMANTHA: much better than I expected, but still not feeling it. She's just not an SI girl to me. SOFIA: Average. Not great, not bad. probably deserved some better shots. TANYA: Meh. She showed the most promise on her rookie teaser and it turned out she probably came in last among the rookies.
