Taken less than 24 hrs earlier than the Coachella picture you posted. Even scrolling through the two photos in this set, you can see the shift with the lighting of each photo.

Lighting also plays a big role. An outdoor shoot in the sun, with added reflectors and possibily photography lights, like the picture you commented on doesn’t really make me think they purposefully lightened her.
