I checked and the Cannes amfar gala isn’t until the 17th, so I imagine some of the models are waiting until closer to that date to arrive.

Cannes is a 12 day festival, there’s plenty of time for other Angels to arrive. Considering the Met was yesterday, Taylor and Stella prioritized that and will likely show up in the next couple days. Edit: Neither Taylor or Stella attended Cannes last year. I could see Stella attending this year as Kristen is on the jury. Elsa has confirmed she’s attending this year as well.

Yeah, Taylor’s look somehow followed the theme but fell flat for me. I loved Stella’s dress but her hair is a goddamn mess. Fine, add the length but why does it look frizzy and unkempt. Lily’s dress is actual trash.

Ming has attended the Met Gala twice before though, and has HF designer connections. Elsa has strong commercial connection but she only recently started participating in fashion weeks and networking with that crowd, and even then, she’s not really booking super high profile shows.

Rosie HW was also dressed by Ralph Lauren, and her dress doesn’t look like some excess tent fabric that Lily belted around her waist. And she at least leaned into the religious motifs.

I don’t think she was invited. Dilone and Constance were part of the Inwood Angels shoot too and neither of them are attending.

Lily looks like she’s wearing one of those yellow rain ponchos. It’s not just a safe look, it’s a bad look.

The only thing that makes me think she isn’t going is that she hasn’t said a peep about it. Most models aren’t shy about attending and hype it up, and Elsa usually posts when she’s excited for things and little hints. (Like the VS show when she had fittings.)

I think it's a tricky theme to pull off without being tacky.

Yesterday Timur posted that he was location scouting for a 360Cashmere/SkullChasmere campaign with one of their VPs and Lorena. I'm wondering if this means she's on the shoot, or was just with Timur that day. Also wondering if she'll be at Cannes this year again.

Bee posted a Met throwback picture this week, so she would be likely to attend. I believe Candice confirmed she wasn’t attending. Jasmine, Lais, Elsa, Sara, Josephine, and Martha have never been invited iirc? Can’t see any of them attending this year either. Romee is in Australia so I think she’s out this year. Anyone have an idea about Adriana?
