Honestly, good for VS. It's much better for them to actually admit that things aren't working, and try to change rather than bullheadedly push forward with the same tired formula. Everyone comes in and screams and laughs about how VS is declining (which they definitely are) but it's true that a huge part of that is their unwillingness to adapt to the evolving market. Live TV events are going down in general- why waste a huge portion of your budget on this huge production that isn't giving you the return you want when it's likely a webcast show(if that's where they're moving to) at a much lower cost will reach the same audience. I'll wait to see what the actual changes are, but I think it's encouraging that they're starting to make changes.

I don't know what's going on with this issue and the poses, but it's like all the girls forgot how to model. Or the team choose the worst selects. Even the girls I like all have a good handful of pictures where I'm completely scratching my head trying to figure out how any of those images made it to publication. I’ve noticed they’ll sometimes do the social media stuff for events hours after, even a day, after it’s occurred. Especially if it’s just a press event, and not a meet and greet. It’s stupid imo, but they’ve been doing it more and more lately.

Rosie, Taylor, Candice and Stella should saved their looks a week for Cannes. This year was probably the biggest yawn of the Met's for me, modelwise.

I actually love Jo's look, and think it's campy af. Impressed with her first Met go. I would rather someone risk looking bad but taking a risk than the boring girls that play it safe. It's the Met. There are a thousand other red carpets to look pretty and cute for- hell Cannes is in a week. Take an advantage of this event designed to be daring.

I’d be surprised if she skipped Cannes. She’s gone the last two years with zero profile. It would make no sense for her to skip out now, even if she doesn’t get any premiere invites. The surrounding parties are still a good place to be seen and network.

Lo is no where near Met levels. Angels that have been with VS for nearly a decade still aren’t landing invites (Elsa, Lais etc), and Lorena doesn’t have any HF backing atm.

Sounds fake. But real talk, the team loves Megan. She was just at a birthday party this week for one of the VS execs. Bob, Jen, Jerome, some of the Angels were all there. I would imagine they really like her as a person. Probably lovely to work with. I don’t mind her for swim tbh, though I do wish they would focus on Angels given how many of them their are now. (After they sign Lo, ofc.)
