Grace is much more successful in HF when it comes to campaigns and runway but Lorena has a strong commercial base and as much as y’all like to deny it, VS is a commercial mall brand. She’ll sell well for them imo. I like both girls and think they’d both make great Angels but I really do hope VS gets an Asian girl in their line up before they add two more white girls. I think Lorena’s announcement is inevitable though, given all the recent info.

Lorena didn't get famous hawking laxative teas and teeth whiteners on her IG. She's been working steadily in the European & ecomm market for 5 years now(which is how she built up her following. She's not modelling suddenly because she has a lot of followers- she's been modelling for years and got popular because of it). It's fine that you don't like her but Lo has been working her way up through the industry for some time now.

She's the face for VS fragrance Bombshell "Paradise." Doesn't seemed to be fully launched yet- it's in stores but not really prominent on their website yet.

She's doing more press- interview/video with The Coveteur. So if she didn't get VS, she got another big contract. The Lions is putting in WERK for Miss Lo.

She's doing more press today. She filmed an interview/workout routine with The Coveteur so if she didn't get VS, she got something big to be suddenly doing all this press. Edit: I also can't tell 100% but I'm pretty sure she's wearing VSX. Edit 2: Yeah, she is. I can see the items on their website.

Anyone got any idea why she’d be filming press interviews? 👀

Yeah, Victor does fantastic beauty work with the girls but all of his work is exactly the same. He uses the same lighting, styling and editing in his photos. His work is instantly recognizable but also all blurs together at a point. I really enjoy his photos but I think he would struggle working for a client that asks him to do anything different than his normal comfort zone.

She’s not a contract model. She doesn’t have any exclusivity clauses.

This ain’t it, chief. Celebrate the victory of another minority within the industry, don’t resent it. It’s all progress. Yes, you can, and should be, frustrated that VS has had the opportunity to step up and promote Asian women and diversity and yet haven’t done so, but don’t put down Leomie’s success in order to voice that frustration.

It’s not Romee. There are other pictures on the VS site taken at the same time with different styling where she looks like her normal blow up doll self. It’s the combination of barely there make up, kiddy ponytail, childish bra and weird yearbook photo smile.

Someone’s gotta explain this styling choice to me. Romee looks like a kid.

Anyone know if Alexis was ever following the SI crew/main SI account? She’s not atm, and her social blade shows she did a huge purge of her followed accounts. Seems odd imo.

I ended up unfollowing a bunch of the Angels sometime last month in an IG purge, so I haven’t followed a lot of them as closely. Who has or hasn’t shot lately of the old NA? Elsa - shot once or twice in the last week. Lais - on set atm. Jasmine - shooting steadily all year. Stella - shot last week Martha - The last thing I see was from early Feb with Lorena. Josephine - in the last two weeks Romee - idk? Sara - last thing I see is from Feb. Taylor - idk

I was actually thinking about this when people were floating Lameka, Aiden, Gisele etc as potential new Angels. All light skinned WOC, which I still love to see that diversity, but I’m really thrilled they made this choice and girls are going to have some dark skin representation.

This almost redeems them for the choice of Alexina. I’m so thrilled for Leomie.
