  1. That's a professional, positive response. Thanks for the article link, and translation.
  2. CNN has a nice article with a photo shoot featuring Angelina from 1991: http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/02/entertainment/gallery/tbt-angelina-jolie/index.html Just as an aside: I've met Harry Langdon, the photographer quoted in the article and responsible for those photos. He's a really nice guy.
  3. If you missed it, Vendela is in the news. Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter has a column about Donald Trump, with Vendela. Here's Slate's synopsis and the Vanity Fair column. http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2016/10/04/donald_trump_almost_made_a_model_cry_by_judging_women_s_tits_at_a_1993_dinner.html http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/10/graydon-carter-on-donald-trump

  5. Interesting tidbit. The role went to Courtney Cox, right? '94 would be kind of a big year for her. She's in an ep of Seinfeld. Pet Detective is released. And I think '94 is the first season of some tv show called Friends. Could always call the agency. A designer I know was launching a line, and they booked a lesser but still name model for the catalog, paying quite a fee to book her. I saw the proofs of the catalog shoot, and the stuff came out just beautiful. Apparently and for whatever reason, the designer never released it. The catalog, or the line. I don't know if it tested poorly, manufacturing or retail or business issues. In a drawer somewhere are all those amazing photos, never before seen by the public.
  6. Which ones did you think came off as snobby? Something I wondered was how they decided the order, who was going first and second, and who was going last. I don't think we even heard from Hannah or Robyn? I thought the drivers and models all did a fine job frankly. It's a game show taped live in front of an audience. You can cut people some slack I figure. It's easy to say or do something you think right in that moment, hey this will play funny or well, but it falls a little flat. The show is not going to edit it out necessarily and needs its 21+ minutes. Like the no handshake bit. It's a bit superficial, but the forum is "Fashion Models", and: I did not like what Robyn or Hannah wore. Robyn's dress in particular I did not like. Hannah's, that coral green, and especially on that set, didn't like it. She's such a good model but not a fan of that dress.
  7. What do you think of her calendar compared to her Sports Illustrated appearances? Her calendar reminds me, in a way, of the Ford's Super Models of the World Calendar. It feels like a more fashion-oriented thing. When the models do their own calendar, and also Sports Illustrated, it's so interesting to compare. Vendela (of course) was the cover of the 1993 SI swimsuit magazine, and she has an impressive run in the magazine from '92-'97 ('96 only in an ad). I think I just prefer her SI stuff as swimsuit calendar/pinup work. She's so great in SI (especially with Robert Huntzinger). It's the same with Carol Alt. I think Carol is a fabulous model, but her own calendars were just a bit, I don't know, uninspired maybe. It's not like they're bad, or something. But I just liked her stuff in SI much more, more successful as swimsuit/pinup work.

  14. Yes, agree. Nice to see she's still modeling. Do you know by chance which agency she is with now? My (vague) recollection was that she was with Trump Legends, but I didn't see her listed currently.
  15. That's interesting. I believe Trump dated another model from Elite -- Kara Young. Though I can't remember the year.
