It’s kind of hard to say with the books vs the show because the books are so thick and there’s so much spread around. We don’t see Avrasherala and Draper until book two. Some of the happenings in two happen in the first season, some in book one doesn’t happen until season two, things like that. I am enjoying both tremendously and recommend reading them if you love reading hardcore sci fi.

Quick brother update. He’s doing about 70% better today. He’s been a trooper through all of this. I’m not sure when he’s going to go home, I’ve not asked, nor do I want them to rush it. I saw a pick of him today, sitting up and working his phone almost like normal!

@Stormbringer @Cult Icon @Stromboli1 They got him up and walking today a few times. They took out his drains too! He’s steadily improving which is wonderful news. I saw a pic of him last night and he already looks better than the last month or so. Thanks for all the warm fuzzies sent our way.

Thanks, Stormy! I just got a text from our brother. He was in the operating room for 6 hours, but he did great. Which is a relief.

I’m worried for my brother who is now in surgery for a quadruple bypass. It was supposed to be done on Friday, but the hospital couldn’t get his chest pains to ease up. He had a mild heart attack last weekend, and they did a catheter scan and found out about the blockages. Heart problems run in our family. I know now he’ll be fine, and come through the surgery fine. He’s got our brother out there to help out. I’m just a worrier. But this is what’s on my mind.

I’m liking the rose gold hair on her. Is Ms. Iskra now an ambassador for L’Oreal?

We really liked the latest episode. Did not expect the ending, that was a surprise to us. We’re also looking forward to seeing Samurai World.
