I like the backgrounds. Much better than the boring white they use for Pink. Even though it's a basic portrait background, I like it better. I still prefer the actual 'room' type sets over the basic ones. Jac has been outstanding this year.

I'm tired of the heat already.

The best thing that Domino's had for a few years back was their garlic bread pizza. The crust was doused in garlic butter. An I think their cheesey bread is better than almost any else out there. Pizza Inn is actually the better of the chains out here, but they're hard to find. A couple of local chains are good too.

That was fantastic news this week. What was sad for me though, is that my brother in law passed away two months ago. He had married my brother 4 years ago in DC, and the state where they live honors same sex marriages, so that was good. I can see Jack though, smiling sweetly next to my brother in spirit with his arm around him celebrating as he would have if Jack was really here. My brother posted this beautiful sentiment over the weekend about what the pastor said to them during the ceremony. "This is not a gay marriage. This is not a same sex marriage. It is a marriage, and it should be treated as such." I paraphrase, but that's the spirit of it. So I was smiling and happy though it was very bittersweet for my brother and for that, my heart ached. They would have been married four years on June 24th, 2 days before the landmark ruling. Pretty, I'm happy for your father in law too. Congrats to him.

Another Period?

OMG Thank you very much Bebebe! I've been lurking on some instagrams (Fabi's included) but I have been hesitant to post anything because her IG is private. Never thought to check out the photographer's pages. She's looking great! Her son just passed a year old earlier this month too. This is a fantastic shoot. My favorite in a long time.

This pic just kills me. Very lovely. I think that her hair is just fine. It's obviously been over processed, and I think that the less they try to do anything with it, the better. Get some serious conditioning in, and let it grow. It happens to the best of us too.
