That everyone in Harvey's path stay safe and sane through this storm. It's not Katrina or Ike's strength, but the weather peeps are saying that the storm will remain strong for a long time, dumping tons of water in Texas.

Ok, who else thinks it was shitty how the idiots in charge brought in all the VS Greats for call backs and then did not cast a single one? Talk about harsh, mean, shady, etc. I'm still kind of laughing over the IGs out there that are bitching about how VS needs diversity and youth, and when they do cast that way for the show, the IG's hate it. Pure golden salt... Or I'm just a mean old bitch.

that's because 40 is the new 30, and so on and so on. I see VS keeping Adri around as long as she wants to. No pushing her out because she's getting old. I don't think Adri will let herself age that much until after she retires from VS. Then she'll look at her portrait that's covered and in the back of the closet.

Wow... y'all talked a lot since Tuesday! I have some thoughts, so they're all going into one catch up post. I'm surprised but yet not that VS changed the standard line up this year. I like to see the new, young blood come in, for whatever reasons. My first thought on seeing all the vets going to the call backs, along with the yearly quote from Ed about bigger and larger, they would do a sort of retrospect with all the girls, like they should have done for their 20th anniversary. I was wrong. I also thought it was pretty fucking mean of them to have most of the vets come in for a call back only to say Nope! Pretty damn shady. I would not be surprised if VS asks the older vets to come to casting next year and they all say a big ol' Fuck y'all. I am wondering if Kate G will continue to walk the show, ala Iza and others who were angels for one or two years and came back year after year. Thoughts? I love that the new crew this year is vast. Including a redhead! Alexina is a stunning lady and I hope she goes far with VS. I love her with L'Oreal. Happy to see some of the gals from 2015 coming back too. A little sad to see Nadine get so thin.

+1 I like that the girls aren't super hard bodies. They're women, let them be a bit softer around the edges. It's not a bad thing, they look great. I remember seeing the pics of Anja. It looked painful. Also, I thought Jordan Devon was a fit model again this year, so why go to castings? Are they making everyone go this year? There's less than how many eps until the end of the series? We've only a handful left this season and a smattering for 8. I'm not sure if anything will ruin it for me until the end credits of the last show. By then it will be too late.

Totally agree. Growing up in the middle of the Cold War (yes, I'm that old) not once did I ever worry about waking up to bombs, even though we still practiced duck and cover drills in elementary school. In the (many) decades since, I've had that thought twice. Once when a lightning bolt hit just outside my bedroom window that did sound like a bomb went off; and once now, this week.
