  1. we need to see more humor similar to this nowdays. https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/an-alabama-chick-fil-a-had-the-funniest-sign-war-with-moes-bar-b-que-across-the-street/ar-AAuqaQU
  2. While I applaud and am with those who feel the time is right to come out over their abuse and harassment, I can't help but wonder how much of the behavior is 1) still not talked about and 2) how do you sift through the truth to find the false allegations out there to make it a witch hunt ala the MacCarthy hearings?
  3. LOL! There's an old saying that goes, "If you don't like the Texas weather, wait about 10 minutes, it will change. My saying is Mother Nature is hormonal and we're the outcome of it.
  4. Certainly was a unique individual. May he finally be at peace. Thanks Chuck for the wonderful tunes.
  5. I did not remember about Pablo. Thanks for the reminder. I'm on the fence about streaming, so I'm trying to not get too excited. But it would be hella cool to see something in the TOR realm!
  6. Very cool, though I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic with the franchise in total. I'm sure I'll have a better idea of how Rian treats SW after 12/15. To the notes about the books, etc, going into cannon.... (Grab a drink and a snack, this may be long....) When Lucas still owned LucasFilm fully, he kept a tight reign on the bible. So there were only a few misses with the vast array of books. When he sold to Disney, a lot of the old cannon got tossed to the side and branded with the term Legends on the cover. Sucked for a lot of us who used that 25+ years of cannon to do the old table top SW RPG. During the time that the two were in talks to sell-buy the franchise, a little animated movie called Star Wars: the Clone Wars was released. A second Clone Wars series was ordered and ran on Cartoon Network. When the sale went through, Disney (for sake of making more money to offset that $4B price tag, they said from the movies (the first six) and the Clone Wars movie and series was cannon. Dave Filoni, who's responsible for the Clone Wars and the newer series Rebels, would take what stuff he loved from the original cannon (now known as Legends) and put shit back in. His favorite characters, planets, events and crafts were slipped back into the New Cannon. Unfortunately, this is the last season of Rebels on DisneyXD,so we won't see more, unless Disney greenlights another series. Fans of the show Rebels show may have noticed in Force Awakens, the little cranky R5 unit, Chopper, popped up in one of the scenes. Also, in Rouge One, not only do we see the Ghost, but you hear her captain being called over the intercom. So that was kind of cool too. Seeing how that kind of cannon works is one of my guilty pleasures. If you read this to here, congrats. You now know how much of a SW Geekette/Nerdette I am.
  7. Sadly, it's been this way since the "Holy Trilogy" came to and end in 83. Hollywood is in the remake-retelling mode for the last 30 years. No one wants to put money down on an original idea when sequels and prequels are deemed cash grabs.
  8. If these ladies are still with VS on these years; 2018: Elsa or Sara 2019: Sara or Elsa (depends on who gets it next year) 2020: Martha 2021: Taylor 2022: Adriana as a final farewell. It will be a set, and include the 3 million dollar encrusted walker that's done in a striking flame job.
  9. My top 4 favorites, not in order; 2017 2012 2006 2010
  10. Of course, it was when they were the most sober. And I love Def Leppard, since High N Dry came out.
  11. 401! Wow y'all got chatty quick! To play catch up, Imma gonna try to keep this on one post. (yeah, right Candle...tell us another lie) A huge Welcome to BZ/VSFS17 everybody new! I'm one of the long, long time lurkers (from like 2008) who finally got the balls to start posting in various threads way way back (like 10 or so?). It did take me some time before people started to reply to or even quote my posts. I figured everybody probably read them and just went on reading. I did not take it personally. I just kept posting. Eventually people started to warm up to me and we'd have full on conversations. So, just give it time peeps. Is it bad that I don't care who performs, because it's going to be a shit show anyway? C'mon peeps, it's freaking VS! They're bound to disappoint somewhere. I love the pic that was shown a page or so back with Lais and the artists take on the rest of the outfit. Vest or Robe is probably the word instead of Mantle. Mantles are usually left open and it just drapes down the body. Pretty art. The question about Romme's boobs? The pic that was posted, the promo for the Shanghai fragrance? Look carefully, the cleavage is PSed. I think she may have got them redone, or VS finally got her into some decent bras for her body type. The promos for the champange collection she looks really good. But the fragrance promo is bad. Taylor's vid/ad was very well done. She looked stunning in it. Love the slip as well. I'd get it if I didn't eat myself out of their sizes. Same love for the black robe, both satin jackets, and all the tees. Very smart looking. I'd put them on my wish list if I didn't eat myself out of their sizes. I know I'm missing some things since it took this old broad nearly 3 days to catch up with the thread.
