Seriously, how can they have real periods when they don’t have the reproduction organs? Hormones messing with you, the emotional upheavals. Those I understand. But pain, and bleeding? How? I’m not in the loop, but I do have a friend who’s going from boy to girl, and I’ve not heard a word about them.

Hubs rarely gets the visual aura, mostly auditory and nausea. Dark room, and let him be. They suck.

Daily? I have them like every 4 weeks or so. How is he coping with them He copes by taking a lot of Excedrin Migraines, and it gets him through the day. Everyone is baffled how his migraines do not respond to much of anything. He’s got a high tolerance to most meds. Or they don’t work for long or well. He doesn’t have too many that are full blown migraines with the nausea and vomiting. At least right now, anyway. Sometimes he’ll get prescription pain killers, which he’ll take when they are full blown. And stay in a very dark, cool temp room. How do you handle yours?

@Enrico_sw @Stromboli1 this is the wrong place to put this, but I feel it is appropriate. I be watched/listened to Bill Maher’s show last night. The one with Sharon Osbourne. They talk about her being fired at the Talk. They talked about the woke and cancel culture and it was stuff we’ve been trying to say all along about it. His panel discussion was enlightening as well.

Ooff! Hubs deals with them almost daily, so I can relate!

I’ve always voted my conscience instead of party lines. I’ve never voted party lines, especially straight Rep or Dem tickets. I agree that the parties should both disappear and go far far away.
