My "condoliances" for your condition. Sadly, there are always medical risks, called complications, towards getting surgery done. Being a medical student myself I would even consider the usage of plastic surgery as MALPRACTICE on a patient, since it's hard to quantify the measure of psychological stress in comparison with the very real risks of complications.
