Hmmm, I had a wholly different view of what the word elegant meant. To me elegance is the trait of possesing a natural grace, NOT the way you manage to dress yourself and strut on a red carpet. Having said that I alas can't know of any "elegant" people, since red carpet events to me are dreadfully boring.

I partly agree and partly disagree. Yes, people who are confident and rational will not adjust their behaviour on people who they see as role models (kind of a nice wordplay there but oke) and stay true to themselves. But having said that is overly simplifying reality, a lot of people are not so rational to see it's just an image and or are not secure enough about themselves. They then go look for inspiration to others, people who they deem to be succesfull/pretty whatever. In order to protect these people, and this group is actually the majority of our population, some general guidelines and restrictions should be inplaced. Furthermore, modelling for a clothing brand is not art really. There's an aspect of it to it, but in the truest sense of it...it's just pure cold business.

dear Lord... *sigh* that is a picture from her vacation, nothing official. Calm down. Well that's one of the 2 pics visible where's she's smoking. The top right also shows her smoking. Now I agree they should be able to do what they want in their own time, but taking a modeling shoot in which she is visibly smoking is something society in itself should not encourage. Something like models previously being underweight too much, after social pressure they adapted these rules so that models were forced to be of at least of normal weight if they wanted to do catwalks. Something likewise should also be done with regards to smoking.

Candice Swanepoel.....I've seen some very nice pics of Candice Boucher, but also know she's not that much without photoshop editing and make-up. Because of that I'll choose for Swanepoel for she's more of a natural beauty

No, that's not slutty in itself I think Personally I think very tall girls with high heels is more bordering on slutty I am 6 1" myself and don't really wear any of the two options I just stated, but if people want to wear it because they like it....well it's hardly that slutty. The slutty image I think depends on the whole image (short skirt, lots of cleavage, cheap make-up, high heels or any other signs and combination of these things)
