I do agree with the fact that Twitter is ideologically corrupt. It will be interesting to see if the quality of the platform improves.

Why was France at its peak in the 20s/30s? Overall it seems like the northern european countries are the lucky ones, with the best standard of living. EU had a lot of problems during the great recession. (2007 onward). There are too many small countries in this Union with different agendas.

Tyrion is such an idiot with Shae in book 2. GRRM much have had some bad experiences with women, she is obviously pretending to love him, lol. Show Shae seems to be different. Shagga in the books has way more content. It should have made it to the show, he's funny!

@Enrico_sw TBH China is a weird mix of communism, fascism, and hyper capitalism. Russia is a weird mix of communism, fascism, democracy, and crony capitalism. and US is now a weird mix of democracy, socialism, crony capitalism and regular capitalism.

From what I heard a big reason why CDPR messed with Cyperpunk is that they created their own proprietary engine, which has serious failings. Now they are using someone else's. I really hope that they bring in the same voice actors. It will be cool to see a more serious Triss and Shani romance.

The main romance option in Witcher 1 is Triss or Shani No Yennefer, no Ciri. Also there are 20-25 plus minor romances. This game has the most romances out of the trilogy. Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel and Kaer morhen are there too!

Olivia Cooke's character (adult Alicent) was rather obnoxious. Just very neurotic all the time and one-note. It would have been better if they made her character more multi-faceted and easier to watch. Daemon

Thanks. I will read this chapter after I finish the books. How about Arya Stark? The Arya content in Books 1-2 is very impressive. The general theme also reminds me of Ciri from the Witcher books. I wonder now if it's a well established fantasy trope (tomgirl that gets a long series of traumatic situations and brutalization while being on the run and eventually develops into a skillful fighter)
