Wrong, that's a narrow net to cast it. Redanian Intelligence - Your news source on The Witcher, House of the Dragon, Lord of the Rings and more! In any event this thread has turned into a current events thread for years, nobody cares except you.

  4. This is from a couple years ago. The photo set that came from this is among the best ever. Japan, Taiwan, & South Korea appear to be a good place for white models to work with less competition than in Western countries.

This is one of the strangest (and funniest) sexual encounters in W1. It would shock me if all 25 or so romances made it to the remake.

I heard that Season 3 has a sharp drop in viewership. S2 was pretty successful and so was S1. What they seem to be doing is trying to do a 'middle way', having it appeal to both feminists and normal people, and feminists are increasing in number in the US. S2 disappointed many people and caused many fans to quit the show afterwards. In S3 they may have overreached as they have reduced Geralt's Role and the Show has gone down from approx. 30% books to maybe just 15%. Feminists see the world in extremely polarized & paranoid lenses and consider entertainment from 10-15 + years ago as being sexist or not feminist enough. The biggest inherent problem with the show is that the wrong writing team and the wrong directors, and the wrong company took charge of the project. These are not people who truly like Sapkowski's books and CDPR's vision for the saga. There were photos of their writing team that circulated a few years ago and they were mostly women with the male writers being effeminate looking. Their team has feminist-left wing leanings and the "Witcher" is too "sexist" for them. I saw some of the stuff on reddit written by Feminists about the games, show and the books and clearly they find it too sexist. Anya is pretty decent but I don't see her as Yennefer. Same thing for Henry cavill. The entire show is miscast outside maybe a couple of characters (Tissiana De Vries is great) On further reflection the show also resembles a jobs program. They have good funding and consume $millions of dollar per episode and have an excessive amount of props and characters. A lot of resources are wasted and looks more like their agenda is just to showcase their technical skills. The show would actually be better with fewer actors. Overall it's a hack show designed to further the careers of everyone involved except Henry Cavill & maybe some nameless ones. They aren't passionate about the Witcher and I suspect that most of the actors aren't even familiar with the games and the books. The actress that plays Mother Nenneke is black and has no idea who the character is. The character is more like a Head Nun. She plays her like she's a Black Witch Doctor archetype.

I am almost done reviewing Season 3 and they really should rename this show "Witches". There was already a lot of content in the first 2 seasons that wasn't in the novels and in Season 3 they went all in. It is now really in the main fan-fiction about the female sorceresses at Aretuza. Only a couple of scenes are from the books and some are not even in the right place chronologically. So if 30% of S1 & S2 were from the books in S3 they have reduced this even further. After reviewing this show I have also noticed that most of the Geralt quests that predate the first story book (Blood of Elves) have been modified or deleted. There are 3 books of quests and they only did maybe half a book of them. This really shows how reduced Geralt's role is in the Netflix show compared to the books. These books were vital for the character and world building. Freya Allen is really the star of the show and Anya may end up having things changed so she plays a much bigger role than she did in the books.
