  1. The claim that 10% ownership is 'communist' is arbitrary and based on 1990s western neoliberal ideology rather than facts. The F500 is heavily involved in the government to advance their own interests (the US is kleptocracy)- in fact influencing government to secure corporate interests that is that what CEOs spend much of their time doing. Also it ignores the obvious role of the public sphere in industrialized East Asia (China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan) that have industrial policy that manage hyper-capitalist systems underneath them that are far more competitive than in Western countries and have de-industrialized them by taking away their market share. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_companies_in_Asia If the Democrats did the same thing Trump did the anti-Trump influencers would not complain and rationalize their actions for 'their side'.

I finally ate Dubai chocolate. The filling tastes like a mixture of a crunch bar (with very fine texture) and a very light pistachio nut butter. Overall, super overrated and I was personally underwhelmed by it. It would be better if the pistachio flavor was much stronger, maybe enhanced artificially.
  3. A better subject matter- but hollywood would probably not do it because the similarities to Ukraine is too obvious- is how Putin/Russia grinded for years in the Chechen wars, murdered a entire generation of chechen men, re-educated their fatherless children, and converted the territory loyal by bribing them with state funds & governance by the warlord Kadyrov.
  4. Before he gets to review the pizza, a thug sweet talks him into giving one out of 3 away-
  5. I tried to watch the sequel and couldn't get into it. I think the original blade runner stands on its own as a classic. also I hate seeing Harrison ford as a broken-down old man in all the reboots of his old classics. there has to be more old asian actresses than Michelle Yeoh imho
  6. on social media it looks like interest is returning to the legendary (but dead) Metal gear series thanks to this re-make- people love it and so many rememberberries..
  7. yeah her instagram is in danger imho. The only platform that is safe is X. imho her youtube appeal will fail. Google/YT has been purging these OF accounts for the past 1-2 yrs- they used to operate freely for years.
  8. next era- pregnant with babies era!
  9. https://www.youtube.com/@uaeats/videos The success of UA Eats' channel over a very short period time is a rather strange and telling one. He is turning into a very polarizing food reviewer on the platform. He has very poor knowledge of fine dining and cooking but he reviews everything with a main focus on 'working man's food- steakhouses and sandwiches. His editing is bare bones, he doesn't script, he rambles on and on with mostly nonsense for 20 minutes. He is not polished in his speaking and has a lot of ignorant comments. He is not good looking and his face is difficult to look at, at times. But he outperforms his more knowledgeable/researched competitor's videos because pumps out 2 videos a week and they don't- also his videos are more authentic. Also his crowd is anti-fine dining/anti-the rich so he has more mass populist appeal. A lot of his videos has him sh*tting on expensive establishments and he has a poor immigrant's obsession with 'the price' of everything even when sitting down at a $300 Michelin star restaurant.
