I believe that Gladiator is also partially responsible for the interest in stoic philosophy on youtube/social media during the pandemic. All those stoicism youtubers used Gladiator pictures as thumbnails lol. Stoicism is still at 2 million views per month on youtube. People started to read the great ancient texts again (myself included- read them all). It's really a one-of a kind screenplay, so well written.

I like the trailer too, it looks like a very fun film. The comments section is filled with people mocking it though and just as funny. for me the plot of hod is very solid, but the issue with the story (as in fire and blood) is that the characters aren't strong enough outside of Queen R and Daemon. the characters serve the plot, not the other way around.
