The Russian army has developed the UMPK module for converting 3,000 KG bombs into precision guided munitions- They showed it off recently and are already using it to blow up Ukrainian economic & military targets. So now a primary source of combat power is now these high-powered bombs. Interestingly unlike the speculation that only Russian strategic bombers could use it- they managed to fit it under the SU-34 fighter-bomber pylons making it a munition for wide-scale daily use. This is after the Russian military re-started large scale production of FAB 3000 bombs in 2023.

Historically only about 60% of the electorate cares about politics enough to vote for the president, trust in the mainstream media is extremely low, about 30% according to polls. Living standards for the poor and middle class have degraded every year while billionaires and the rich own most of the wealth in this country. The poorly paid jobs, massive inflation and tax hikes since COVID-19 has been ruinous which is a key thing going against the Democrats. (among other lessor issues, like poor quality foreign policy) The political positions taken by candidates are not based on 'real beliefs', but what their constituents (the people who pay them through corruption and campaign contributions, lobbying, saying things that people like to hear...) want.

the funny thing is that the shooter went up the most obvious place...good job secret service I guess after this it's 'President Trump' now. social media is currently filled with fakes and lies. The NY Post claimed that the shooter was "Chinese" (good job idiots) and then pictures came out of the dead guy- who was white. FBI said that the shooter was a 20-year old named Crooks and the photos viral of the shooter was of another man lol.
