Heh, I was stoned out of my gourd and thought an over-elaborate post on theories referencing Python was hilarious.

Not always true. However: Carla always = Win. Now that's a universal constant. I'll call my theory the "Theory of Carla." I'm also developing a new top secret theory aimed at measuring win in units of Carla. For example "That Louis CK set was great, almost two Carlas!" and "Adriana Lima is cute and all, but only half a Carla" and "Ford Taurus times Carla equals Aston Martin Rapide." My research team and I are still trying to nail down the conversion tables, though, so it's not ready for publishing.

Oh, and after going through the thread, I've decided - remarkably easily - that this has tied my other favorite pic (below) on the internets. They're in the top two of two. ... I need to find a blonde one to complete the set apparently. And someone mentioned that she reminds them of Josie Maran, I agree. Different ethnicity obviously but similar features, I especially think she looks Josie-ish in this one: Considering Ms. Maran is as close as I've got to an all-time favorite, let's just say I'm about the Carla Ossa bandwagon.

Doutzen Kroes
I figured out why I like her. Well, beyond "good lord, she is hot." It's like she was put together using the best parts of other beautiful women. In a Weird Science kind of way. That isn't to say she looks manufactured. That implies a collaborative, cynical process to meet specified standards. Like Megan Fox or - in a more extreme case - Heidi Montag. The way Doutzen is put together, she's more like the unique realization of a creator with vision and taste. That doesn't mean she's my favorite ever, or that she's precisely what I'd "design" given such powers - but I'd shake the hand of whoever did.

My small gift to the ladies of this forum who have over the years supplied my mostly-lurking straight male ass with more eye candy than I can possibly categorize. And to give Benny Feilhaber some help in representing the US soccer team.

Ah Apple, where utility is sacrificed for... well, nothing really, except that utility is uncool.

Vodka sucks. Agreed on the rum comment, but bourbon is the best!

Megan Fox
It is pretty amusing, but for all we know the conversation went like this. Bay: "We're gonna need you to put on weight for Transformers 3." Fox: "I'm Megan Fox, I don't have to listen to you." Bay: "I see how it is. Bye." (Bay hangs up) Bay: "That girl's about to find out she defines 'replaceable.'" Bay: "Hey, wanna be in my robot movie?" Whiteley: "Sure!" Bay: "You'll have to put on some weight though, fill out a bit." Whiteley: "You're the boss!" Bay: "Great, now wash my Ferrari." (Whiteley hangs up) Whiteley: "I'm gonna be a movie star!"

Here's someone I'd like Megan Fox to meet and get acquainted with. At least twice, preferably 3 times a day, they should hang out:

The adriana lima look like...
Nothing new or limited to models/actresses. Every white American basketball player who is good is inevitably labeled "the next Previous White Player That Was Good Of Similar Height" regardless of who their game more accurately mirrors. People like to have opinions that seem insightful so labeling someone "the next" someone is a chance to earn attention for it.

Givenchy ads
True story: My grandmother worked as an advertising executive for Givenchy in New York decades ago. They still chat from time to time, and she gets Christmas cards from him in France. Told me a story that I forgot most of but could be summarized with "Rene Russo is the best and most professional model I worked with." That is quite literally 100% of what I know of and about the fashion/fragrance industry, though I suppose I could have learned more had I asked her, but I doubt she minds that I took more of an interest in my grandfather's dedication to baseball instead. /grandmother started out working in the mailroom of the building //cool story bro

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
I'm glad they're all but admitting that "talent" isn't a requirement for being cast in a Michael Bay film. Granted, my avatar "won" her "role" in "Deuce Bigalow 2: European Gigolo" (in quotes as well because it barely qualifies as a movie) by "auditioning" on camera with three others on how best to press her boobs up against a window whilst cleaning it. Though she deserves some credit for winning despite having the smallest rack of the "contestants" so hey, maybe there is accounting for talent! So yeah, I actually don't care. It's a popcorn film, I hope she wears as little clothing as suspension of disbelief will allow and "be hot" as Bay instructed Fox to be.

Plug: The Babe Index
I was going through my post history for no good reason and saw this. Figured what little updates I know about this site and its aborted successor would be of some limited interest. Plus any time I can necro-bump a thread from 2005 with a new on topic comment, it amuses me to do so. As far as the original site went, it was taken down for intellectual property reasons after they received a cease and desist. The guy(s) who made the original Babe Index eventually got real jobs - they were college students at the time I believe - and the main coder now works for Facebook. He now serves mostly as the person I complain to when I get sick of people sending me app requests. Anyway, on to the Babe Index - he and his friend were going to set up a new site with better coding (and Youtube-like ways to avoid and deal with copyright infringement) but the demands of their jobs forced them to put it on the backburner. So, for anyone who liked the old site - like me - probly ain't gonna happen. Oh well.

Your scans? Next time - if your scanner has it and it should - look for an enable the "Descreening" filter option. That will remove the "static" effect on the images.- Rocio Guirao Diaz
