  1. Oh yes, I think Matt Damon and Ben Affleck among others will take a big hit… Absolutely, he had a whole system set up for maximum success. A true predator. He would lure his target to his hotel room e.g. under the guise of a meeting, would have a female executive or an assistant in the room to make the woman lower her guard down, then he’d dismiss the executive or the assistant so he would end up alone with the woman. Using female casting agents etc. to seem more trustworthy. This is the same guy who Matt Damon, Russell Crowe, and Harvey Weinstein allegedly defended to NYT, which killed the story they were working on: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0518441/
  2. Yeah, I think there must have been a lot of antipathy towards women who were seen as using the casting couch to sleep their way to the top. Women like Meryl Streep and Judi Dench could afford to be dismissive towards other women like, “Well, I’m so talented, I don’t have to sleep with anyone for roles.” BUT not all women went along with it, they rejected his advances and told others. Hence, it was called Hollywood’s worst kept secret. So, these A-list celebrities who try to act brand new like they had never heard of any sexual harassment allegations are DIRTY.
  3. 30 Rock - Jenna Turned Down Harvey Weinstein There’s also another scene where Jenna says she slept with Harvey Weinstein. Yet all these celebrities want to act appalled like they had never heard of such things.
  4. Cara on her experience with Harvey:
  5. More evidence on how preposterous it is when big A-list stars like Streep and Clooney claim they had no idea:
  6. Oh Lindsay… Back in 2014, she said about Lawrence, "She's so fake and I'm sorry I'm not going to fuck for roles." Rumour has it that Lindsay wanted to be one of Harvey’s girls but he wasn’t interested. And alledgedly, she is an escort now.
  7. ^ Thank you for the link to that other song! Crazy! I also wonder whether Jennifer Lawrence is afraid that if she reveals something about Weinstein, more nude pictures or worse will be leaked as retaliation.
  8. ^ There could also be something even more harrowing involving other players. So they’re trying to make him the sole guilty one because he was so blatant.

  10. Why don’t you ever mention your mother? Could that explain some of your issues with women?

  12. The Obamas on Harvey Weinstein:
  13. The audio video posted on the article has subtitles One of the women in the article is Patricia Arquette’s (Oscar winner) sister:
  14. By one of the women in The New Yorker article:
  15. Some suspect his brother, Bob Weinstein, is involved in exposing him because he wanted Harvey out of the company. Harvey has also had less success in recent years. His movies didn’t turn profit and didn’t get award nominations like they used to. Easier to take him down. Some also speculate that he pissed off someone even more powerful than him or that he stopped paying off someone he should have ala Charlie Sheen.
  16. @Cult Icon I hope you’ll never have children. You’re the type that if your daughter told you that she was raped by her boyfriend, you would say that she must have led boys on.
  17. Now those who feigned complete ignorance like Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence look even more suspicious. And that dummy Donna Karan spoke too soon, now there are A-list stars corroborating sexual harassment allegations. It is rumoured that Donna Karan and her husband are into shady practices themselves and that she is Amber Rose’s sponsor.

  20. Hoping this will be revealed:
  21. Why didn’t she come forward sooner? It could be for many reasons. It seems that she was told that it’d be unlikely that she would win in court so she was advised to reach for a settlement. In exchange, she had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. She probably figured it’d be better than nothing. Harvey Weinstein is very rich and influential. Politicians, industry insiders etc. are his friends. He gave a Manhattan DA $10,000 after the DA declined to prosecute him for sexual assault charges (and he had previously supported the DA with over $100k for the DA’s political aspirations.) He has donated a LOT of money to different charities. It is said that he has raised about 50 million for amfAR over the years. His behaviour was an open secret in Hollywood. He had people like Matt Damon and Russell Crowe endorse him, which resulted in NYT pulling a story that they were working on about him earlier. So, she would have probably been blacklisted had she accused him of rape publicly back then. Out of a job AND a rape victim? It’s extremely hard for victims of sexual abuse to go up against the perpetrators (shame, fear etc.), let alone when the perpetrator is someone as powerful as Harvey Weinstein and there are so many influential people complicit in covering up for him.
  22. Rose back in 2016 on why women don’t report sexual assault:
  23. Objectivity? The man has already released a statement where he admits to wrongdoings. Obviously, he is not going to out himself as a rapist. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/10/05/us/statement-from-harvey-weinstein.html
