Whoa, did you think I condone what she did with Jimmy just because she was also sexually abused at a young age? I think we all agreed that was wrong and sick. :yuckky: :x I was just pointing out I don't think you can feel sympathy for Jimmy without feeling sympathy for his mother. Plus, Jimmy turned his back on the only person who did actually did love him, Nucky.

Sookie had to KILL THAT BITCH!!! That was the 2nd time Debbie tried to kill her. What, was she gonna let her live so she could get another chance? Not to mention she killed Tara, Sookie's best friend.

To answer your question, some overtly religious people become that way because they believe they got "GOD" on their side, therefore what they do cannot be wrong. And true, Nucky is gonna be pissed when he finds out. As far as Jimmy goes, Nucky killing him was shocking to see. I did have a feeling that Nuk would never forgive him for turning his back on him. Not to mention he did try to have him killed. However, I do kind of find it hard to feel sympathy for Jimmy. Granted, his sick mother who sexually abused him as a infant "and" as an adult made him that way. Thing is, if we feel bad for him, shouldn't we feel bad for Gillian, who was raped by the Commodore and had Jimmy when she was on 13? Not sure what will happen to his son, stuck with her. And will Richard Harrow become a father figure for him? Jimmy's death leaves those characters in total disarray, and one wonders if they will be back next season.

Nobody wins against me, SWEET LOU. Yours_Forever, nice way to dodge my ORIGINAL POINT!!! I only brought that up was because they did it again. Granted, Jax didn't necessarily blame the niners for Clay's shooting, but he said some Black guys did it, and everybody bought it. Say what you wanna say about protecting the club, but it really wasn't necessary this time around. I'm sure the club wouldn't hold it against Opie shooting Clay if they knew what Clay did to his father, as well as the fact that he killed John Teller and tried to get Tara killed. Now, this thing is gonna come to a head. Tig killed the leader of the 1-9 Kings' girlfriend, who is also the daughter of one of Oakland's top gangsters, who, as Sheriff Eli Roosevelt puts it, is the most DEADLIEST gangster out of Oaktown. The Sons had to come to Tig's aid. Were gonna have to wait and see how that situation turns out in the next season. It is sure gonna be a main issue. Granted, this is just a show, but sometimes show stir up emotions in you, good and bad. I'm a black man, so I have faced that type of racism.

Boardwalk Empire Recap: Season 2 Episode 12 – To The Lost Jimmy and Harrow surprise a KKK meeting and start shooting people. They demand the names and addresses of the guys who shot up Chalky’s. They only have to kill like four people before the assembled racist turds get the point. Manya is now hiding out in the basement of a synagogue but still giving poetic but long-winded descriptions of his status. Doyle, Nucky, and Owen are sitting across from him, trying not to look bored. Nucky understands that Manya has had a rough time of it recently but explains that Waxey Gordon is a business partner. But Manya informs Nucky that Waxey is in business with Jimmy and that they should help each other out. Nucky notes that Manya doesn’t look to be in a position to do anything, but Manya tells him that if Angela could still talk she would tell him otherwise. Jimmy and Harrow deliver the KKK guys to Chalky, plus $5,000 for each family. Chalky declares the strike over and Jimmy asks Chalky to tell Nucky that he wants to talk. “Welcome back, fellas!” says Chalky, as the KKK guys are dragged to the ground and beaten. In the car, Harrow tells Jimmy that whatever he does to try to change things, they’ll never forgive him. I’m not sure who Harrow is referring to here: the African-American people of Atlantic City or Nucky and his comrades. Or both. Emily is working on walking when Nucky arrives home. Katy informs him that Margaret left a little bit ago and didn’t say where she was going. Turns out that Margaret has gone to see Randolph with Father Brennan along for moral support. Father tries to do all the talking but Margaret sends him out. Randolph tries to understand where Margaret is coming from, and Margaret explains that her husband beat her and her children, while Nucky has never been cruel to her. Randolph tries to guilt Margaret by pointing out that she’s putting her children’s safety and comfort above everyone else’s. Nucky and Fallon are discussing how Margaret’s testimony will sink him when Chalky calls. Nucky goes to visit Jimmy, who informs him that the Commodore is dead. Jimmy regrets not killing him sooner, like the moment he suggested betraying Nucky. Jimmy knows that there’s nothing he can say, but hopes that there’s something he can do. Nucky demands the truth and Jimmy tells him that the attempt on his life was Eli’s idea. Margaret’s knitting a scarf and boiling water for tea, which makes sense since it’s like 100 degrees. Nucky comes to talk to her about the fundamental differences in their faith. His version of God demands that he love his family. There is more God in the love that he feels for her and the children than in all of the churches in Rome. “I adore you and our family. My entire universe is in these walls. The rest can disappear,” he says. It’s really quite lovely, but Margaret is of course skeptical. Nucky needs and wants her to marry and is upfront about the fact that she would save his life by doing so. “I’m afraid. I don’t want to die or spend my life in jail. I would never admit that to anyone but you,” he says. Margaret doesn’t have an answer for him at the moment. The Commodore’s death certificate, listing his cause of death as an accident, has arrived costing a pretty penny. His will leaves his estate to his servant, the one who tried to poison him. Jimmy tears up the will, so that the estate can go to him and then to Tommy if anything happens to him. Neary, Ryan, and Boyd arrive and Jimmy shocks them by ordering them to recant their testimony and blame everything on Eli. Margaret is awoken the next morning by the sound of Nucky cheering on Emily. She looks out the window and is thrilled to see Emily working on walking with the encouragement of Nucky and her brother. Later, she tells Nucky that she’ll need him to accompany her to church, where she’ll make a full confession and then marry him. Randolph is practicing her opening argument while Margaret is making her confession and while Jimmy and Harrow are approaching Neary’s office. Neary is in the midst of diddling his secretary. Jimmy advises her to go for a coffee break and not come back. As Margaret and Nucky tie the knot, Jimmy and Harrow walk Neary through his confession/suicide note…and then they walk him through his suicide, too. Helpful guys, those two. In court, Randolph can hardly believe the blatant witness tampering. But with essentially no cards to play, she agrees to let the judge declare a mistrial. Eli is released on his own recognizance, but Halloran, who confessed to killing Hans Schroeder, gets sent to Leavenworth. Gillian watches as Jimmy and Tommy arrange a pony ride at the beach. Jimmy tells Tommy about how he used to come out here by himself and tells Tommy that he’ll be able to do the same when he needs to. Nucky comes to bed a little drunk after celebrating the mistrial. He insists that he had nothing to do with Neary’s suicide and Margaret insists that she believes him. There’s more good news: Congress is going to approve the road appropriations, so he’ll need her to sign the deed back to him. “Maybe God is giving me another chance,” he says. Eli is sitting on the porch when Nucky comes to see him. “Hot enough for you?” asks Eli. “Yes, and how about those Phillies and my brother tried to have me killed,” says Nucky. “Et tu, Eli?” Eli doesn’t get the reference and Nucky says that it’s from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. “There’s a character named Eli?” Eli asks and I die laughing. Eli insists that he had nothing to do with the attempt on Nucky’s life, but that’s not what Jimmy said. Nucky tells him that he needs to plead guilty. He’ll do two years at the most, but be out in one, while Joan and the kids are well looked out for. It’s the best he’s going to get. Lucky and Lansky are pitching this whole heroin thing to Rothstein, who says that they could start an import business, Chinese lanterns perhaps. Nucky calls and asks Rothstein how he would feel if Manya were suddenly to be amongst the departed. Rothstein, given the nod by Lucky, says that he would have no opinion. Van Alden, Sigrid, and Abigail are moving into an apartment in Cicero, Illinois. (Cicero, since this show is dripping in symbolism, was the Roman philosopher who called for a return to traditional republican government after the tumultuous dictatorship of Caesar.) They have new names: Mr. and Mrs. Mueller. Jimmy and Harrow are sharing a drink and some stories from the war. Harrow used to think that that was where he was meant to be. Jimmy assures him that no one was meant to be there. Nucky calls and says that he’ll be meeting Manya in an hour. Harrow offers to go for Jimmy, who he tells him that it’s something he needs to take care of. Personally, I would want Harrow as back-up just in case, but whatever. Gillian looks a little concerned that Jimmy has gone out and notices that Tommy is wearing Jimmy’s dog tags. “You’re gonna be a big man in this city one day,” she tells him. “Just like your father.” Jimmy meets up with Nucky, Owen, and Manya, seemingly cuffed, at a war memorial that is still under construction. “Now you will have your revenge?” asks Manya. “Is that what this is?” asks Jimmy, as Eli appears behind him with a shotgun. Manya reveals that he’s not actually tied up. “This is the only way we could have ended?” asks Jimmy, but Nucky insists that this was his choice. “I died in the trenches years ago,” says Jimmy. “So who’s gonna do it?” he asks looking at Owen, Manya, and Eli. “I am,” says Nucky, pulling a gun from his vest. Jimmy tells him that the first time he killed someone he vomited for two days straight. He assures Nucky that he’ll get through it, all he has to worry about it is when he runs out of booze and company. Nucky cuts him off by shooting him. “You don’t know me, James,” he says. “I am not seeking forgiveness.” He shoots Jimmy in the head and Jimmy dies underneath the large, bronze doughboy. We flashback to Jimmy in the trenches, hearing the whistle and climbing out into nomansland. In the morning, things look rather idyllic at the Thompson household. Margaret asks Nucky where he was last night and he tells her that he ran into Jimmy. Margaret is initially pleased to hear that they cleared the air, but her face falls when Nucky tells her that he reenlisted. Nucky goes to meet Bader, Moran, and Fleming at the future site of the highway to celebrate. Margaret goes to Nucky’s desk and ponders the deed and the map showing the future highway. She signs the deed, scratching out the beginning of her old last name and correcting it to Thompson, then signs it over to Father Brennan’s church.
  6. They had multiple outfits. And Ale never missed the show. My bad. Ale got pregnant at the right time, like right after the the 2007 show, which allowed her to not mess the 2008 show. 3 months is plenty of time to lose weight. True, KK and Isabeli walked twice. Now, Isabeli looked great in the 2010 show. So far, the fact that she has had two kids hasn't made her body any worse for wear, so she could definitely come back to do VSFS in the future. KK, I'm not so sure. While she looked good at the 2010 show, she has suffered from hypothyroidism in the past, which makes her a risky pic for future shows.

How did I not see it before? I remember when he came back from in the pilot episode last year, the way she jumped into his arms, it was like he was her husband or girlfriend on the side. Since they showed him visiting his wife first, I actually thought she was his girl on the side. When I found out she was his mother, I wondered why she looked so young. Eventually, we learn about her and the Commodore, and what he did to her, which one of the main reason she SO FUCKED UP!!! Still doesn't excuse what she did. Plus, Jimmy should think about her raising his kid. She sexually abused him, even when he was a baby, who says she won't do the same to her grandson?
  8. I see a lot of people talking about bring some vets back. While novel idea, I think that is a LOT of wishful thinking. How many still have contracts with VS? Not to mention, you can't turn back the clocks of time. So which veterans are we talking about? Do those girls still have it? Even when they brought back vets, their roles were limited. In the 2010 show we saw the reappearance of KK and Isabeli, but they only appeared one time. Doutzen only missed the 2010 show because she was pregnant. I missed seeing Rosie, but she will probably be back next year(I hope). Also, I don't know how longer Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are gonna do this. Adriana has been doing in the VSFS since 1999, and Alessandra since 2000, save for the years they had babies. They are both 30 now. My best guess that eventually their roles will be limited more, so we are gonna see more and more newer models every year from here on out.

Well, Mexicans were secretive, and now we know why. They were in cahoots with the CIA, and they need this deal with the Irish Kings to happen. So, Clay gets to live, , Jax takes his rightful place at the head of the table, and we got to look forward to another season. . I'm sure there are gonna be some twists and turns, but we know some of the things they are gonna have to deal with: 1. This thing with the 1-9 Kings ain't going away. Not only did Tig kill the leader's girl, her father is supposedly the Most DEADLIEST Gangster out of OAKLAND!!! :blueeyedbaby: That is gonna turn into a war. 2. Jax ability to be leader of the Club. Will he take it in the direction his father wanted it to go, or will be similar to Clay? I seriously doubt he would be a cold-blooded as Clay, but you never know. 3. His relationship with Tara and Gemma. Tara decided to stay with Jax, and that he is the head honcho, she might be the new Matriarch and possibly a challenge to Gemma. Gemma covered her tracks and Usner's of their possible involvent in John's death. She may have destroyed the evidence, but Tara saw those letters, too, so she has leverage she can use at any time. Gemma gets too bold, Tara can tell Jax, which would create a rift between Jax and his mother, one I don't think she could ever repair.

Boardwalk Empire Episode 11 recap: Under God's Power She Flourishes In this episode everybody's past pretty much come back to haunt them: First off, the ghost of Hans Schroeder comes back to rear its ugly head. It effects Nucky, Margaret and Eli. Eli, who is in jail after being arrested by the feds on the orders of Esther Randolph, based on information provided by Deputy Halloran. His lawyer says if he admits to murdering Schroeder because Nucky ordered him to, he can get life in Prison, instead of being put to death via the Electric Chair. Nucky, on the order hand is telling Margaret to prepare for the worst. Both has been subpoenaed by the Federal Government. Margaret, feeling that God is punishing her for all the wrong she has done, as well as her daughter(who has contracted polio), is thinking about testifying, and tells Nucky such. He warns her not to do it, and even though he doesn't says it plainly, he indicted that he will kill her, or at least have her killed, if she does. Mickey Doyle get a wake up call, too. Realizing that Jimmy Darmody can not handle the reins of power, Mickey, Al Capone, Meyer Lanksy, and Lucky Luciano sell the liquor among them. They are chatting Jimmy won't be coming back because his wife and her girlfriend was killed. Mickey tells them that it was Manny Horovitz that did it. When Doyle asks when Jimmy comes back looking for his share, the other three tells them to pay him out of his share. When Mickey ain't down with that, Luciano reminds him that because of a life insurance policy he signed with Arnold Rothstein in the first season, that he is actually worth more dead than alive, so he best do what they say. And we get to see Jimmy in his college days, before he enlisted to fight in France in World War I. There, at Princeton he meets Angela for the 1st time, and she seems to be a friend with "benefits" type of girl. When Jimmy gets her pregnant, he gives her a roundabout marriage proposal. They really don't know each other very well, so it seems the pregnancy is the only reason why they got married in the 1st place. His mom, Gillian, comes up to visit him. It is revealed even at this stage, Nucky had influence and power enough to make this happen. Gillian meets Angela, and Gillian is still young and pretty, so a lot of the college guys flirt with her. One of Jimmy's teachers gets a little too frisky, its not really clear if he tried to raped her or just got too rough with her, but something obviously happened, and Jimmy beats his ass down. As Jimmy takes his mom, who is drunk to his dorm room to sleep it off, we learn Gillian loves her son TOO DAMN MUCH. I remember when she is in a previous episode told Angela when she changed his diaper when he was a baby, she used to kiss his "little winkie". :yuckky: Anyway, when Jimmy is helping her get to sleep, she tells him how she used to lay with him when he was a baby and that it felt like they were alone in the world. We he goes to kiss his mom and the forehead, Gillian instead kisses him on the lips, tells him "There's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong with any of it" and they proceed to have sex with each other. :x That is so wrong on so many so many levels. If there is one thing you shouldn't put your penis in, it is the vagina YOU CAME OUT OF!!! Sure, she was drunk, but she knew what she was doing. After all, she initiated it. Anyway, he wakes up, mother's gone, and he seems to realize the severity of what he has done with his own mother, she the troops outside his window, and decides to enlist in the Army that same day. Even our favorite lawman we love to hate Buren Van Alden gets caught up. In talking to Nucky, one of his black servants mention that his church, while doing baptisms in a nearby river, that Van Alden drowned a agent who worked with him, Agent Sorbo. This came to light of the U.S. Assistant Attorney General Esther Randolph( base on Mabel Walker Willebrandt ). When a lawmen at her office tried to arrest him, he shot the lawman in the leg and ran. Jimmy eventually got the news that his wife was murdered, and he was sad about it. His mother, of course, who didn't like her anyway, doesn't care. She is so cold, acting like it was no big deal, and they will just move on like nothing happened. Even when talking to him, Gillian says they should tell his son that his mom went away to draw, then tell him that she went to live with her friends in Paris and wanted him to stay with his father. While Jimmy is sitting there with tears in his eyes, she goes to suggest that her grandson will eventually not remember who she is. Jimmy gets up, grabs his mother by the neck say "I'LL REMEMBER, I'LL REMEMBER". He appears that in his fit of rage he might choke his mother to death, so the Commodore attacks him with a stick. Despite him having a stroke, he pins Jimmy to the wall, and put the stick to Jimmy to his neck, chocking him. However, the stick breaks and winds up stabbing the Commodore with it in the stomach. When Jimmy pulls it out, his mom tells him to finish him off, sho he stabs him again in the chest. He did get injured in the shoulder, but I'm guessing it was from the fall her had after he killed the Commodore. As he comes to, he sees his his friend Richard Harrow cleaning up the scene. Jimmy son, Tommy is there to see him. When he asks where his mom is at, Gillian says "I'm here. Everything's fine". She grabs him to put him to bed. Before she goes up, she forgives Jimmy for choking her, saying he didn't mean it, and that it never has to be mentioned again. She even feels like she would be a better mother to her grandson than Angela would be a mother. She even suggested to Angela that she can have her youthful adventures and she would raise Tommy when Jimmy was in Chicago working for Torrio and with Capone. So, next season, the finale. They flash it quick, but it looks like Chalky White and the blacks who help run A.C. will get their share, even taking over importing the liquor. I'm eager to see what else transpires.

You know, many infamous U.S. gangsters are actually of Polish decent. The ones featured on Boardwalk Empire so far has been Meyer Lanksy, Waxey Gordon, and Micky Doyle, all real people. There are many more. You can go to Wikipedia and look it up.
  12. k_dub replied to LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE's post in a topic in Television
That shouldn't be a hard decision. Many of the show's characters here are based on real people. There have been many movies done about Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lanksy, and Al Capone, but we never really saw they started out. And I doubt Arnold Rothstein and Johnny Torrio had any movies made about them. Micky Doyle, Waxey Gordon, as well as the show's star, Nucky Thompson, is also based on a real person.
  13. Now that was HILARIOUS!!! And Baron, how could you not know Adam Levine and and Anne V were not together? Did the see the show last year? He was the Orlando Bloom of 2010.
  14. I know the reason for that. After 2005, there was a regime change at the VSFS. Alex de Betak and his creative team were out, and a new one came in. That's why the music hasn't been the same and the casting choices are sometimes head-scratchers. Do you think Alex would cleared some of the girls they've had recently if he was still heading creative for the show? They kept the same music producer and various other productions folks...I see them every year in the backstage videos, but the creative tone of the show has changed...and if you ask me, it was probably CBS who ordered it. And since the ratings have been climbing, it was probably for the best for not only CBS, but VS and the continuation of the show to be aired. However, I do miss the glory days of the show. 2002-2005 are classic viewing. You have to take in consideration that 2005 was the last show for Tyra Banks(an "ORIGINAL" Angel, and QUEEN of the runway) Fernanda Tavares, and Naomi Campbell. Nobody since has had the presence, confidence, and swagger that Tyra had. Ed Mazek, the CMO of Victoria's Secret, was as far to compare her to MICHAEL JORDAN!!! It's a far comparison considering how groundbreaking she was, especially as a Black model. Her achievements, too many to name. Victoria's went on a fool's errand trying to replace her with Selita Ebanks. When u get compared to people like Jordan, they are saying you are "ONE OF A KIND", and Tyra was that. Eventually models get older and gotta retire, so after 2005, the VSFS kinda went to a transitional period. Matter of fact, the only girls left from the 2000 till now are Alessandra and Adriana. LAST OF THE MOHICANS. Now for the reviews of the models of this year's fashion show: Candice Swanepoel: She has pretty much the whole package to be included in the fashion show, but she shouldn't have opened. She not exotic looking enough, nor does she have the "WOW" factor that other models have. Anja Rubik: She was just ok, even though that last outfit was :x. Plus, she could have showed more personality. She stayed stone faced, even in the Superhero section. Lily Aldridge: Just walk girl, don't try to do too much. You can't do it like the rest. Alessandra Ambrosio: She is always great. Just the right amount of emotion, personality, etc. Chanel Iman: Almost an afterthought. This year, she was not memorable at all. Doutzen Kroes: It was great to her back in the FS. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I love her muscles. Toni Garrn: New girl. Kept it simple and sweet. Camera didn't give her much airtime, though. Sui He: Another new girl. Seems like they just brought her in so Liu Wen wouldn't feel like the token Asian chick, yet they used her twice. Not really impressed. Lais Ribeiro: Was my favorite new girl last year. She was pretty decent, blowing kisses and winking here and there. Bregje Heinen: Third new girl. Just plainly walked back and forth on the runway each time. You're a new girl. Do something else so people will remember you. You're on the biggest fashion show. Miranda Kerr: She's pretty much a veteran now, so she knows what to do, smile and look pretty. Short, sweet and simple. Adriana Lima: At this point, I think people find her either amusing or annoying. I'm of the former. She really hams it up for the camera, and tries to the get crowd amped. LOTS of personality. Lindsay Ellingson: Thought she was good. Pretty much kept it simple. Shannan Click: Did they really have to use her again? She is one of most plainest girls Victoria's Secret has ever used. Izabel Goulart: Another girl coming back into the fold. I always loved her smile and personality on the runway. Karlie Kloss: Out of all the new girls, this is the one they decided to focus on? Joan Smalls: Made her wear that stupid ass looking inner tube around her neck in the Superangels section. She was supposed to be superangel of the pool? Looked better the 2nd time. Karmen Pedaru: She was one of the prettier new girls. Only appeared once, maybe she will be in future fashion shows. Behati Prinsloo: She is definitely becoming one of the more popular angels. Very animated, and hamed it up for the camera in the Superangel section. Good stuff. Erin Heatherton: Very pretty, and except for Adriana, is the most animated angel. Her outfits didn't give her a chance to be that animated as she was last year, though. Maryna Linchuk: Uh, she was ok. Only got to see her once though. Doesn't give you much of a chance to stand out. Lily Donaldson: She was decent looking. Pretty average, though. Julia Stegner: She tried. However, I didn't find her face that attractive. Flavia de Oliveira: This girl is new to Victoria's Secret? Now that is a girl you should focus on. Too bad they only showed her once. Constance Jablonski: Pretty girl, and I loved her outfit, but so damn STOIC!!! Caroline Winberg: Got damn, another blonde from your past shows? Seriously?! Anne Vyalitsina: Seems like they brought her back because Maroon 5 was performing. The hand-holding and kiss on the cheek was sweet. Much better than the duet between Seal and Heidi. Anais Mali: Well, at least they tried to add more color this year. Body was good, and liked her skin tone. Toni Garrn: Average looking. Nuff said. Emanuela De Paula: Oh, c'mon DUDE!!! You're bring a fine Brazilian like her and only use her once? Cameron Russell: Pretty much an average looking brunette. Got big lips, though, so she is probably a good kisser. Shanina Shaik: She was my favorite new girl. She should had been in the show more, and she is the new model they probably should have focused on. Then again, she's not american, and maybe she doesn't speak english that well. Ieva Laguna: I did like her. Decent enough face, and definitely animated enough to be featured in the pink section. Jessica Clarke: She was cute. Think she could have been more animated, but was animated enough. Caroline Brasch Nielsen: WORST girl in the pink section. She tried to be animated, but her facial expression never changed. Elsa Hosk: Hamed it up for the camera. An otherwise decent looking girl. Jacquelyn Jablonski: Think she would have been better the 2nd time. Hardly showed emotion the the last minute. Did she realize it was the pink section? Like I said, I liked it better than in years past. However, that might have been in part the the hip-hop theme the show had. Even some of the girls didn't impress me, most of the outfits did. Also, the inbetween things featured the angels were entertaining, especially the ones talking about the 1st ever fashion shows, and showing themselves as kids.

Don't know how many of you are awake, and if you're not, no worries. No need to wait for Azkid to deliver, just go http://vsholic.com/videos/victorias-secret...how-video-2011/ and you good to go. HD 1080, HD 720, Xvid, you good.
  17. Wait for it, its coming. I'll break the show and the models later. I actually enjoyed the show. I'm a major hip-hop head. I don't like Kanye because of his attitude and I think Jay-Z is WAYYYY OVERRATED as a rapper, but I can't front on their music. I've always been a fan of Maroon 5, and I guess it was cool to see him hold Anne V's hand and kiss her on the cheek. I was much better than seeing Seal and Heidi Klum sing that duet a few years back. She sounded terrible. Heidi, you're a model and definitely NOT A SINGER!!! Also, Nicki Manaj gave a great performance and her songs and interesting outfits were perfect for the Pink Section. All the Runway segments were cool. Most of the outfits were good. However, I think the overemphasized the more famous models, especially current and former Angels, while they underemphasized the news and second year models. Adriana, Alessandra, Miranda, Behati, and even Lily were able to ham it up even before they, and sometimes after, they walked. The camera would be focused on them, shot from all angles. That camera stayed on them during the walk to the front, and even the back if a less famous model followed them. However, the 1st and 2 comers like Shanina Shaik, Joan Smalls, both of the Asian girls and Bregje Heinen didn;t have much camera time. Some of them were reduced to one shot, when they reached the front of the runway. Only Karlie Kloss really got noticed in a big way, and that was because they did a segment on her. Also, I knew the slow motion thing was coming so it didn't bother me too much. They actually started that in 2005, and that was THEIR BEST SHOW!!! I also could have did without showing the celebrities in the crowd. I think they went a little overboard with that, when the lesser known models paying the price. And why do they pick on some models and show mistakes to add DRAMATIC EFFECT?! Did we really have to see Miranda losing her shoe on the runway or see Adriana having trouble getting out of her Superhero outfit? I thought the inbetween segments were good. It was kinda interesting to see them talk about each other, discussing their 1st fashion shows, and their opinions on one another. I really enjoyed them looking at pictures of themselves when they were kids. A bunch of ugly ducklings growing up to be BEAUTIFUL SWANS!!!! I will watch the show again and break the models down a little more, but I liked the show, and I think it was better than years past.

Well, The secret's out now. Clay actually did survive, but now Jax knows everything. Well, ALMOST everything. Gemma gave the Jax the letters written by his father, as well as the fact that Clay tried to get Tara killed. However, she made sure to cover her and Usner's tracks, so he didn't give him all the letters. Thing is, while they sorted thing out with Clay getting shot by Opie and Jax shooting Op in the hand to stop him from finishing the job, you need somebody to blame, right? So the Son's do what they do best. When the shits hits the fan, blame it on the BLACK MAN!!! :blueeyedbaby: :anger: <_< And this isn't the 1st time SAMCRO has done this. They tried to blame the Niners for Donna's death. When they couldn't pin on them, they blamed the Mayans. Opie believed it, and in turn killed a Mayan and left SAMCRO'S logo on the body. But hey, they didn't want the blowback on the club, so Jax instead blame on who else, but the NINERS. Ok, I get this is just a show. Still, it's not like black people don't get blamed for many things they had nothing to do with in this day and age. Remember Susan Smith and Charles Stuart? I am a African-American man, and I have faced some racism in my life. Anyway, I'm interested to see what part 2 of the finale has is hold for us. Obviously this thing with the Niners is gonna come to ahead. Jax pretty much intent on killing Clay. Don't know if Tara is gonna tell Jax about Usner and Gemma's involvement in John's death.

REALLY?! They showed the previews right after the show aired. I don't see how you coulda missed that. Hormones still got your BODY OUT OF WACK?! :x I covered all the emotions, right? I'm looking forward to the finale. So big gotta do a 2 parter, which leads us to a dilemma as viewers. What are we gonna watch and what are we gonna DVR or TIVO? Parenthood, Sons season finale part 1, and the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show all come on at the SAME TIME!!! Both Parenthood and Sons of Anarchy both come on Demand. However, they air SOA a week later and you can't fast forward NBC Shows on Demand. Now, I can DVR 2 shows at the same time, but I gotta be watching one of them. Ehh, enough of my bitching. I'll figure something out.

I don't know, he looked pretty dead to me. However, if he's not, that means Opie gotta go. As far as Gemma is concerned, she most definitely thinks as herself as part of the club. As far as a son killing Clay, I think she was talking about her "SON", Jax. Maybe she was planning to tell Jax what really happened to John, and therefore he would be the one to kill Clay. She also knows that Clay hired someone to kill Tara, which is another reason for Jax to kill him. Anyway, 2 part finale coming up. It looks like Gemma and Tara are giving the letter for Jax to read, which leads more to believe that Clay is dead. Looks like the Sons are gonna go the war with the 1-9 Kings, thinking their leader killed Clay. It can just be for retaliation if Clay is actually still alive, but I doubt it. P.S. We found out that blacks can not be a member the Sons. Juice told Clibs that his father was Black, and that was the reason why the cops were hounding him. Chibs told him not to worry about though, because the paperwork on his birth certificate says he's Hispanic.

About to be some problems in A.C. Dunn Purnsley is still around, and now he is Chalky's ally. That guy thought he could treat his workers bad just because they were black. He tried to fire Purnsley, but the other workers have his back. Atlantic City don't run if the blacks refuse to work. Now we see how much power Clalky really has. Meanwhile Nucky is in the business of dealing guns to the Irish and hoping to get Whiskey in return. He makes the trip to Belfast, but now Joe McGarrigle seems have changed his mind, upon hearing the English will allow Ireland to be a free state. Nucky says, "Are you really gonna let me leave empty-handed?", and McGarrigle pretty much says that he is. However, when Nucky is driving away, he hear gunshots. He asks what that is all about, and the guy in the car says "You deal with me now". Owen Slater, who accompanied Nucky on the trip, asked him if he knew that was gonna happen. Owen acknowledges that he did. Nucky tells him that Owen better let him know from now on if he knows something, he better tell him. "I don't like secrets", Nucky tells him. Know I know this is a little off topic, but Sweet Lu, what with this "arse" stuff? You're from Boston, not England.

Well, I watch it On Demand, and I think they air the episode a week later. "Parenthood" usually fills up my spot at 10:00. However, I was able to watch episode 11 On Demand, and thanks to some new technology, was able to watch tonight's episode. And I was definitely NOT DISAPPOINTED. I actually threw a fist bump in the air when it happened. WHOO-HOO!!! Clay is FUCKIN' DEAD!!! :hell yea!:  (Y) Only thing I'm confused about is Jax. He had the drop on Ope, why didn't he pull the trigger? So now there is gonna be a 2 part Finale. I guess we will figure out is anything happened to Opie. However, I think that Jax might have covered that up, because for some reason SAMCRO thinks the leader on the 1-9 Kings gunned down Clay. I remember he did that before, when Ope killed a Mayan thinking they killed Donna, and then blamed it on the Kings so the Mayans wouldn't come at the Sons. And now that Clay is dead, no need for the letters to be a secret anymore. Gemma seems to realize that, and since Jax and Tara are leaving, she gives the letters to her son to read.

Damn. Clay gotta go. Even Gemma realizes that now. Thing is, is he gonna tell Jax about his father, or Opie about his? Gemma told Unser that Clay is gonna die by the hands of a "Son", but a son could mean just another member of the Club.
  24. Judging from the pics we've seen thus far, so far, so good. Nice to see Miranda and Doutzen back into the mix. The music looks good, too. I've always been a fan of Maroon 5. Jay-Z and Kanye West, not so much. Unlike other fans of rap music, I don't think Jay-Z is all that, and Kanye, for other MANY REASONS. <_< I'm also not a fan of Nicki Manaj, either. Her sense of fashion is :x, but that probably fits well with the Pink section. I have no idea who they have host it, but don't have Heidi Klum do it again. She has done it so many times, even the year she wasn't even in the show. I'm guessing the inbetween sections are gonna be interviews with the best known models. However, I wish this year they would interview and give us the backgrounds of the newcomers and 2nd comers to the show. Shanina Shaik, Lais Ribeiro, both of the Jablonski's and Joan Smalls were among my favorites, even though that last outfit worn by Smalls was like WTF?! Is closing, the show looks promising. Yeah, the editing will probably be questionable, and they will probably still do the slow motion thing, but hopefully it won't detract too much from the show. Plus, they can't do much worse than 2009, right. That show was a good one gone HORRIBLY WRONG!!! The outfits were great, there was only one celebrity shot, and the music was good. It was looking like the best show since 2005(pinnacle never to be reached again), but they had to bore us to sleep with that MODEL SEARCH inbetween the segments.

Dexter is good this season. However, people seem to be less enthusiastic, which not surprising considering how good some of the previous seasons were. For example, he has no direct adversary here. He had Doakes and his brother in season 1, it continued with Doakes in season 2, and they added Lyla to the mix. Season 3 they threw Miguel Prado in the mix, a prosecutor who later became Dexter's friend and accomplice, and then turned into his enemy. Season 4 he had the Trinity Killer and his adversary. And Season 5 threw a curveball in the mix. He partnered up with Lumen Ann Pierce, a women whose life he had to save after he seen him kill one of the men who gang raped her. He continued to take care of her, and they both down tracked down the men who were responsible. He still had the adversary in Quinn and his former cop buddy. This season is a little different. Kudos to adding Colin Hanks(son of Tom) and Edward James Olmos into the mix. Dexter is still raising his son, and he briefly made a friend in the character played by rapper/actor Mos Def. The character is a former criminal who did kill somebody, and Dexter was gonna kill him. However, the guy really did turn his life around, preaching to former inmates and even hiring them to work at his auto shop. However, the writers were good enough to add a twist. His dead brother and son of the Trinity killer came BACK INTO THE MIX!!! His brother took the place of his mentor over his father in the last episode. His brother was a serial killer like him, but he had no code. It seemed like he was gonna lead Dexter down a dark path, turn him into a serial killer who killed just because. The Trinity Killer's daughter and wife winded up dead in Nebraska, so Dexter knew that his son was probably the killer. We later found out that his sister committed suicide, and the son killed the mom after blaming them for what their father had become. The son found out that Dexter killed his father and wanted him to kill him as well. In a rare move, Dexter lets him go and tells him that he should forgive himself. As Dexter arrives back in Miami, his father becomes his mentor again.
