It's not the first time that it's happened. When Lindsay got the cover in 2009, VS also got her a lot of press. I'm guessing it flopped hard, though, because she fell off the face of the VS Earth soon after that for like a year and didn't do Swim for two years after that (not that she has that many pics now anyway). That being said it's not the first time Candice has gotten the Swim cover, so I'm siding with Pink and saying it's a hint of changes to come.
Candice is probably all over Swim but that's really the one thing she's majorly featured in. Last year Behati, Erin and Lindsay were all quite heavily featured as well. In other news, VS is now officially using singers for promo outside of the VSFS. Rihanna is definitely the 5-time Grammy winner. The band has to be Maroon 5 right? The red-hot one I dunno, maybe T Swift or Bieber.

Damn, VS is trending worldwide because they just aired the VSFS in France. The power of my country (and its Beliebers).
You don't understand that VS has promote models and no lingerie? It is a cropped panty shot that I think they are also using for either beauty or as a filler/banner shot.
Well, it's fairly obvious that they have different girls to cater for different markets. Lindsay for instance is doing the Cotton Lingerie and Gorgeous lines but she is isn't doing the more "in your face sexy" type of stuff. It's a smart move IMO.

I don't think we could get a conclusive answer on that because of how the interwebs worked back then.
I still can't believe that out of all the shots from Ocean Drive, that's the one they used for the cover.
