1001 NIGHTS, BY MICHEL HADDI Morocco has long been a favourite destination of German catalog companies and countless others seeking to add a boho/oriental feel to their work. When designer Anna Scholz hired a well-known photographer to shoot her S/S 2012 lookbooks in Marrakesh, he took the opportunity to create images for his one of yearly ‘bookazines’, launched during Paris Fashion Week through 350+ venues worldwide, including iTunes*. ’1001 Nights’ is 124 pages of photo essays and neon-hued photo illustrations loosely based on the tale of Scheherazade. Unfortunately without a printed version to hand it is not possible to show all of the photos, so the following are presented as a preview of the issue. It may be of interest that the models were wearing brands such as Bordelle, Monsoon, Mugler, Nine Ricci, Erickson Beamon, Givenchy, D&G, Pebble London, Liza Bruce, Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, Evans, Christian Dior, and Lara Bohinc.
