I'm actually having second thoughts about Lindsay. Sure she's the poor man's Carol Tren., but she has this very doe-eyed sweet look. It's something akin to Miranda's without Pedo-Bear's stamp of approval. -
Ema, Candice, and Rosie angels? Did someone hear my prayers? Is there a God? This might be proof! I do not approve of Chanel, but how can I possibly complain about her when I get three of my favorites in one shot? As for Lindsay… whatever. She’s very pretty filler.

I'm pretty sure VS exsecutives aren't reading this thread for casting ideas. No need to yell. Moving on: AriesDior: Who cares if Heidi & Adriana are in the show this year? Why do comic book nerds care about whether Superman's uniform, or whatever it called, in the film is royal blue or Prussian blue, and whether it matches the original? Because no matter what the general public wants, fans and aficionados, all nitpick and want what they want. We all feel like as interested spectators, they should be marketing to us. Is it stupid to think so? Of course. But that doesn’t stop people from whining about things. If I had it my way, Adriana, Alessandra, Doutzen, Miranda, and Marisa would NEVER EVER be angels. Am I aware that it’s a ridiculous prospect? Of course. Still, I will continue to harp away as to why I dislike them all. As long as no one is being disrespected, I’m pretty sure we can complain and go on about things. It’s what this thread is for, and what VSFS ‘fans’ do.

76 isn't that many considering they had 68 runway outfits (not including the finale outfits last year). The problem is that they have too many models now. If they take the number back to between 26-28 like in 2003-2006 instead of the 35 that they had last year, then they would have enough outfits for each model to get at least 2 walks. I know, but at first glace it looks like a lot.

If I had my way: The number in parenthesis is number of outfits. I hate having models only wear one, so you won't find that in my show. Still, a total of 76 outfits sounds like a rather long show. Haha, but if you divide that up into 7 segments, you have between 10 and 12 outfits per segment. Noemie walk isn't quite as painful to watch as Jessica White, let’s be honest. Part of the disaster that was the 2007 show was having to watch that terrible limp/stomp she had going on. I hope she stays away this year once again.

I don't think Emily looks like Adriana at all, actually. I think she resembles Julie Ordon more than anyone else. And she isn’t really ‘practically confirmed’, because by that logic Nicole Trunfio would’ve been in it a couple years back. Still, I’d like to see her there. Emily is a stunning beauty. As for the show, perhaps I’m being pessimistic, but I expect something better than 07 but worse than last year. Last year’s show seemed good at the time, but if you compare it to the great shows (03 and 05) it really wasn’t ‘all that’, so to speak. I feel that the quality of the materials is what’s making the outfits lose their luster. They’re cheap looking. Even something overworked can look semi-decent if the fabric is right. Still, with good enough casting, I can forgive a couple bad outfits. Heh. I miss Nat Poly and Hana Soukupova at the show more so than any other models. Both of those girls, while not exactly traditionally ‘sexy’ have something many of the other girls lack: presence. They have killer walks, and anyone who doubts this can go look at the stewardess segment back in 06. Along with Gisele**, those three owned that segment. **let’s not shed tears over Gisele, it’s been almost three years now. She’s not coming back… and she’s pregnant. Hehe

I've seen some of Catherine's ads for LV, and I don't remember seeing that specific one yet, and let me tell you, if it is Catherine her profile in that photo was ridiculously photoshoped. I’m a huge McNeil fan and I was startled by the fact it look so much like Ana; even knowing Cat has LV s/s. Alas, my vision is sketchy lately... stupid contacts...

I just bought a TeenVogue, December/January edition, and on the second page there is an ad for Louis Vuitton swimwear/accessories. The model bares a STRIKING resemblance to Ana and I'm beginning to believe it is her. Is there any way to confirm this? I really think it's her. *crosses fingers*

I beg to differ. Doutzen is beautiful, yes, but she has no hips and her broad shoulders don't help much in that aspect. She certainly has a nice bum, but she isn't curvier per say. Her thighs, muscular and toned mind you, are much thicker than the other girls but the other girls have much more feminine looking bodies than gorgeous Doutzy.

The thing about Alice in Wonderland' is that the darkness comes from understanding the references and reading between the lines. Visually, everything is light and child-like but the darkness is under the surface of the world created. Burton wants to make the darkness obvious because that's generally all he likes about any work. To make a true live action 'Alice in Wonderland' you'd need a director that understands how to express something without shoving it in your face. Burton is not the man for the job. Yes, he's very good at what he does and the cast is wonderful... but I just don't think this is an adequate expression of the novel.

I'm a huge fan on 'Alice In Wonderland'... and I really hoped that Burton would not destroy such an amazing, though underated, piece of literature... And with that one photo of Depp... My fears are far from assuaged. Yes, the story is dark, but the level that Burton is taking it sickens me.
