I'd put money on Bar, but Ana would BE AMAZING on the cover. She certainly deserves it.

I'm just happy she's on the list! Maxim never mentions her! At least FHM includes her pretty much every year.

Lost
I concur. But LOST is LOST, and it's still the best show on television.... *couch-tied with MADMEN-cough*

Doutzen Kroes
I am SO happy Doutzen is an Angel. While I consider myself a casual fan, the moment I read this news I was ecstatic! If there is anyone who fits wings it's Doutzen. I've never been a fan of the Angels (except for Izabel & KK) and now that Doutzy is one, and Emanuela is getting face time... my heart jumps for joy. VS really does seem to be reforming itself. Isabeli Fontana, Caro F., and Bianca Balti have made a triumphant return to the mags as well... The change we were promised is here and I’m liking it. I have hope for VS yet, and I have hope for a decent show, unlike the travesty of last years’.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 (PRE-SHOW Thread)
I like the Angels spread out, but that's just my opinion. Lima is a terrible spokes model, and it has nothing to do with her accent. VS knows this and that was why they hadn't given her the bra, no matter how much they worship the ground she walks on. She was given the bra because this is her 10th year with VS and now they kind of have to. Hell, Selita of all people was given the bra before Lima. Now, why Selita got it before Aless is really lost on me (and I'm not even a fan).

Oh, I think I was missunderstood. I mean, in my opinion, Ana looks perfect... all the time. But these pictures are just STUNNING. She looks great all the time, but these photos flatter her beyond reason. BTW: I never like the way Lima looks... maybe a couple photos. But in general I pass.

Doutzen Kroes
Now, I'm not a big Doutzen fan... but that new VS ad is AMAZING! JEEZ! I don't think I've ever found her as gorgeous in print than that photo.

I'm crossing my fingers that this time the rumor is true. OH PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE! I'm being positive about it. I mean, a lot of the girls they stopped using are back now: Bianca and Isabeli predominantly. For a while, they were off the VS map but now they suddenly are back. I'm hoping this will be the progression for Ana as well.

WWE
I LOVED the Cena & Batista fight! I really don't like Cena, but I am a Batista fan and so this little storyline showcasing him makes me all happy inside. He's bringing the 'Likeable Heel' persona back to the WWE which was lost with Rocky & Eddie Guerrero (R.I.P). The only two guys in the WWE right now who you can possibly love for being a prick are: -Chris Jericho - Batista That’s it. Everyone else is just so annoyingly ‘GRRR! I’m mean! Hate me!’ (ala: HHH & Kane). Or they just aren’t Heels (ala: Cena & Rey Mysterio). Batista and Jericho have enough presence and charisma, respectively, to placate the masses and just let us enjoy their douche-ness. **In the wrestling world, wrestlers are spilt up into two sides: Heels (the ‘bad’ guys) and the Faces (the ‘good’ guys). Just in case anyone was not aware. Though if you are in this thread, I’d expect you to. Never thought you’d hear about an ultra girly-girl love wrestling this much now did ya? Wait, till you hear me rant about football… and by football I’m talkin’ NFL baby!

Daniel Craig
Another movie review... My fiancée is really, REALLY, very annoyed with me at this point. But I don't mind. He's such a sour-puss to begin with. <_< I recently started watching a movie entitled 'The Jacket'. Confusing, poor character development... But there was one shinning beacon of hope (I'm just exaggerating playfully). I actually didn't know Daniel was in this film till his first scene. He was just a supporting character. A patient in an institution for the criminally insane, Daniel's character: Rudy has a 'nervous condition.' He was almost scary to watch. He was very twitchy and jumpy, paranoid and really very sick. My grandfather died having what was called a 'nervous condition' because no one knew what he had. Daniel played this character so well; I found it difficult to watch because his mannerisms and subtle nuances reminded me so much of my grandfather who passed away. He had a lesser part, but none-the-less he was easily (after Adrien Brody) the best actor in the film. Really very convincing and frightening. Memorable. Onto something happier: Daniel was at the 'Pineapple Express' Premier! AND another candid from the 'Flashbacks of a Fool' Premier: You may not like his looks, but his eyes are TOO BLUE! Hell, they don't even look natural sometimes... But they are... They are... *stares dreamily into DC's eyes*

Christian Bale
I often find myself wondering why I find him so damn sexy... then I remember him taking a shower in 'American Psycho' and it all comes back to me. He's not traditionally handsome, and that's what I love about him. I'm not into pretty prepubescent-looking boys ala Bloom, Philippe(sp?), and Christiansen(sp?). I like my men... a little off or more rugged looking, like Bale and Daniel Craig. (Though I must admit, some men are just hot to the masses: Depp, Clooney, Josh Holloway and the like.)

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 (PRE-SHOW Thread)
As for Katja I've seen plenty of people want her back. Personally, she had her shot in 06 and she was lack-luster. She's gorgeous but she was boring and her spot is better taken up by someone with more personality and looks like she WANTS to be there. (My only exception is Eugenia Volodina... she can look as bored as she wants. )

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 (PRE-SHOW Thread)
Well, the makeup HAS to stay neutral because smokey eyes and red lips don’t exactly match with every color scheme. Not to mention that the time frame to remove/re-do makeup is well... nonexistent. Even then, if they could apply just some black eye-liner and dark mascara it could enhance the Flapper theme, but would still have a cohesive enough look for other themes.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 (PRE-SHOW Thread)
I think if done well, and not overly-costumey; a flapper/20's theme would be very classy. A bit romantic and elegant: lots of black and beige lace with pops of colors like deep purple and red. Pearls and perhaps a feather or two. I can see it. Not bad chicityboy.

The Sims
I'm a big SIMS fan; I'm hoping to get SIMS 2 Apartment life looks good. But more so, SIMS 3 is set to come out, and it looks amazing. The game play is going to be a little different and the graphics (from the comparison screenshots) are amazing.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 (PRE-SHOW Thread)
I am a fan of only two angels. KK and Izabel. Because KK has already gotten the bra, the only person I'd be happy getting it is obviously Izabel. She's gorgeous (I know not everyone agrees with that), but on top of that she has THE BEST PERSONALITY. She's so cute and effervescent (not hyper active and childish like SOMEONE I will not name, though her last name can be found at your local supermarket under the beans section). Izabel can sell you a piece of chewed gum with a smile and a giggle. Wearing the bra means you have to be the best spokes-model you can be, and Iz definitely has that in the bag. If they give it to Lima, well she hasn't gotten it yet... and she has lost weight... so I guess that's fine. But hearing her talk is like running nails down a chalkboard IMO. I believe that is the only reason she hasn't gotten it. VS kisses the ground she walks on, but they are aware of her lack of communication skills. But I won't count her out for this year’s recipient of the bra. Won't this be her 10th year with VS? They might just give hand it to her for that reason. I doubt Aless will get it. I could be wrong though. I mean, I'm pretty sure her due date is well before then and she can get in shape for it... but I don't know. I just don't see Aless getting it before Lima. -=- For the MM discussion: I go through phases where I absolutely adore her, and then sometimes I’m just like ‘eh’. Right now, MM is THE most popular Angel. With the SI cover and being Maxim’s #1 Sexiest Woman people are raving about her. Hell, just recently I read an article in Cosmo where they called her ‘The Rebirth of the Supermodel.’ I don’t agree with that but w/e. Her body is quite possibly the most amazing body to ever grace earth… that’s just a given (I saw her in person. Didn’t wait in line for an autograph, but I got to see her). Her face, well that’s a matter of taste. She’s the Hottest Girl Next Door, and that’s usually a look which draws men. But she’s cool, she surfs, she’s funny, she’s eloquent… it appeals to women. As for her walk, I won’t so as far as saying that it was horrible but I think it wasn’t good. No matter what your thoughts are on this woman... She’s loved by the media right now and VS loves to see their girl’s names in the funny papers. Why? Because it usually looks like this: ‘VICTORIA’S SECRET ANGEL Marisa Miller.’ It gets the brands name out. There is no way in hell we are going to see any less of MM in VS; she’ll probably be pushed like hell in the show. Expect three outfits guys. Whether this is good news or not to you, get used to it.

Daniel Craig
Ah, Daniel Craig.... Well, I recently rented 'Infamous' with our wonderful Daniel Craig. (My man literally stoop up and left to go pick up dry cleaning. He's so sick of having to watch him. ) And well, as always, Daniel's performance was amazing. It's the true story of author Truman Capote and the murders Richard ___ & Perry Smith (Daniel's character). After brutally (these scenes were very hard to watch) killing a family in a small town, Truman Capote decides to write a book about the atrocities. Little does Capote know that while Richard is, no pun intended, a dick... Perry is an intellectual, tortured, conflicted soul. Needless to say, by the end of the movie you fall in love with Perry and you actually forgive him for the horrible things he did... Daniel was amazing. He was able to make us sympathetic toward someone who really does not deserve it... and that's the whole point. Daniel's ability to pull this off surprised me. He was not James Bond from the Bond films and he wasn't XXXX in 'L4yer Cake'. He truly became Perry Smith. They dyed his hair black and he was given black contacts. And to tell you the truth, even with jet black contacts, there was still this light shimmer of blue in his eyes; they are so damn bright those baby blues of his. One of the most heart breaking scenes in this movie (there were many.. Poor poor, Perry Smith.) Was Daniel delivering this line locked up in his little jail cell: "All I ever wanted was to make a great work of art. I sang... no one listened. I painted... no one looked..." It just makes you want to hug him. Which leads me to one of my favorite moments of the movie: Daniel Craig actually sings really nice. As Perry Smith, Daniel sings the song 'Goldmine in the Sky' with only an acoustic guitar as an accompaniment. He actually sounds very nice. Having to pick up an American accent to play this part, he did it very well and you'd never guess he was British. Other than Daniel, the acting in this movie was SUPERB. At the very least, I enjoyed this movie and I’m quite the armature film critic, favorite actor in it or not.

Jason Isaacs
I thought I was the only woman who loved him. Ever since 'The Patriot' came out, JI is one my favorite actors and secret crushes. I know, he's not conventinally good-looking but he gives me butterflies. The only blue eyes to rival his are Daniel Craig's. I've actually made Tavy(what I call Colonol Tavington ) icons.

WWE
My fiancée just recently decided he was going to watch wrestling again, and I myself decided to as well. Being a female fan from back in the day (maybe since 1994), I stopped after Rocky left... But now that I've come back I gotta tell you my old fav Jericho still does it for me; love that guy. Batista is pretty cool too. Orton used to be a favorite for me but he's gotten obnoxiously clichéd. As for HHH, well ever since the WWE lost its campiness... he's been annoying. Talking about campiness... Does anyone miss the good-old days? When the interviews were funny, when Steph and HHH were married... When Mark Henry got 90yr old pregnant and she gave birth to a hand? I mean COME ON! The WWE was so much fun to watch when it was the WWF. Rock N Sock connection? I can't possibly be the only one who misses the wackiness. Stone Cold covering HHH and Vince in shit? The grittiness of the WWE has left it boring for me. Of course as a chick, the actual fights don't appeal to me; the drama and storylines do. I wish they’d stop taking themselves seriously.
