She makes her living behind the camera these days but the supermodel will return to the catwalk in Australia later this month. The model and photographer will be in town to launch the 2011 Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition. As part of the campaign she will appear at the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival in the Menswear Runway show on Thursday 17 March. Christensen will join a cast of judges to judge the competition and will personally photograph the winner in New York. “The competition provides a great opportunity for talented and gorgeous specs wearers to catch the eye of the modelling industry," she says. The catwalk cameo marks the latest in a recent slew of appearances that suggest the sultry model could be coming out of retirement. In May last year Christensen posed totally nude - aside from a pair of Reebok trainers - in an ad campaign for the brand and the 42-year old says she's more than happy to strip off. “I have no problems with showing my body. I’m Danish. Everyone is naked on the beaches. We don’t really care.”
