Interesting. The photographs of her that I think of first (the SI cover, and so on), I realize are not traditional poses. Interesting observation about her as a model. Roger Rosenblat too, apparently. I liked his commentaries on the NewsHour, and I've been curious about his play, especially given the title. http://www.curtainup.com/ashleymontana.html . Seems like it has a good cast. I find Alibris is a good resource for used books, too. They (currently) are showing a softcover for $12. http://www.alibris.com/search/search.cfm?q...listing*buyused . If it's not there when you click, I bought it.

Yes, I think so too. I liked her dress, and she looked pretty in it. The interview segment she had on the Late Show with David Letterman was amusing. She talked about vacationing in Hawaii and becoming a certified diver. With blonde hair, I didn't recognize her at first.

I can't seem to quote the specific image. But ... Karen is one of my favorite models, and I don't remember seeing that collared tuxedo dress/runway picture before. Gorgeous! Super! Nice to see Karen!

Wow! It's an Estelle CeLefeburation! Very cool. I had not seen some of those before. Good model.

Actually, I do. I think you got it right describing her. Has sort of a different look. "Unusual" was a good adjective.

Hello. Yes, me too. Maybe not a big fan, but I do think she was a good model, and very pretty. I would also say, statuesque. There used to be a good site dedicated to fashion photographers and models of the 80s, but I don't know anymore. This site is pretty good on "classic" models. You could also try the Fashion Spot, http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/ .

Wow. Lots of nice work there. I particularly liked the Marie Claire cityscape edit. Nice. I didn't think RISING SUN was a great movie, but I thought she was cute in it.

Wow. Had never seen some of those before. Very cool. She was a great model. Very cool.- Supermodels
Love Valeria. I think she was an excellent model. I don't know why she wasn't more popular. Even in this thread she hardly gets a mention. Very cool. Very interesting to see which frames they liked.- Marisa Miller
Congratulations on your degree and good luck in your career! Did you write a thesis? Was it a pictorial history of Marisa Miller?- Bridget Moynahan
Hi. If you like Bridget, she has also been in several movies: She had smaller parts in films like LORD OF WAR or SUM OF ALL FEARS (opposite Nicolas Cage and Ben Affleck, respectively), also THE RECRUIT (Al Pacino and Colin Farrell), and so on. She was in SEX AND THE CITY (the TV series), as the model who married "Mister Big".http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005256/- Supermodels
Agree. Interesting comparison, esp. since the VS show just aired. Seymour and Casta or Pestova. Agree. Excellent model.- Stephanie Seymour
Excellent. Excellent model. I never realized that they put the model's name on the jacket cuff. This season's VS show was on television here in the States tonight. Did you ever see this movie?- Elle MacPherson
Had never seen some of those. Also very cool. I imagine those are all from film, and final prints. Lo the woes of filtering color exposures.- Brittany Daniel
That's very cool. I wonder if she also did the swim and bicycle portions of the race? Looks like, probably not. She seems to have worked a lot in 2006, but I haven't seen anything she's done in a long time.- Elle MacPherson
That's very cool. Did you notice the photographer? Looking at these pictures, I kept asking myself what Bensimon had observed about Elle Macpherson now. How had the woman changed. How had the model changed. How had Bensimon changed, for that matter. I'm not sure the editorial actually says anything like that, or tries. I don't know. Very cool editorial, though.- Cameron Richardson
Never did find a copy of that television commercial. (Possibly the commercial is on Carl's Jr's website, which I had trouble navigating. http://www.carlsjr.com/ or possibly http://www.carlsjr.com/ontv ) Two links, though: Whole blurb here: http://www.adrants.com/2004/10/model-has-s...for-hardees.phpand a screencap here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/uda...nRichardson.jpg - Cindy Crawford
